I had the full set of dinner and show. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that the waiter forgot to bring my dessert and when I mentioned it to him after the show (when lights came back on) he was just like ooh I forgot, next time you come I’ll give you two desserts and winked at me which was really bizarre… (most people are tourists here me included) I mean you expect a bit more professionalism after paying so much so make sure to get everything you are supposed to before the program starts since no one will take any responsibility otherwise… (I’m not sure about the right audience in charge but I do hope they take this comment seriously and make some improvements in their service ) That one irresponsible person was not a dealbreaker for me though… I really enjoyed the show And I should give credit where it’s due! It’s a full act with dancing and acrobatics and funny bits. There are not several shows during the night (6:30 to 10 pm set)! It’s only one and you join in based on your ticket. For those who might be confused like I was, it starts with dinner set (no shows or anything is going on from 6:30 to 8:30, it’s supposed to be dinner time and relaxing (and for some who I think joined around 7:40 drink time)). Our show started at 8:40 and it was really engaging. Nice singing, dancing and very interesting acts! They also engaged the audience at one point which was hilarious! I was sitting right next to the stage and one word of advice, that area is not for the weak hearted! There are a lot of jumping and throwing things up and you do feel the feet of dancers gets kinda close sometimes or the acrobatic acts might make you feel things might fall on you so sit away if you don’t want to deal with it. Does it worth the money? It depends on the individual! The first dish and steak were both tasty (no comments on dessert since I didn’t get that as I mentioned). I’m personally happy with going to the show and overall find it a memorable night. One final point as nudity was mentioned in some comments and age groups… if the female status in Louvre and dozens of half naked painting of women there are an issue then be cautious because in some parts women dance with upper part naked but it wasn’t a provocative atmosphere in my opinion… thanks to all the artists for...
Read more** Edited since the owner wants to respond vaguely. Yes we did make the request hours before the show, this was the soonest we could reach out as we had only found out a few hours prior that we would experience extreme travel delays which required us to prioritize our own safety and accomodations at that time. Obviously this business can run their policy however they see fit. My only purpose in this review is to let foreign travelers know they should not expect any accomodations to be made if they cannot attend a show, and due to the expensive nature of the service I think people would like to know upfront if there is a chance they could waste a couple hundred dollars. When La Nouvelle Eve responded to my email we were not advised the Friday show was full, but the response we recieved made it clear they had no intentions with providing any solutions and did not care to discuss the matter further (Attaching their response below). As with everything on Google reviews, please use your best discretion when deciding to use a business.**
Would not recommend to any tourist/travelers visiting the city, they have an extremely strict no cancellation/exchange policy so if you are unable to make the show for any reason you will waste your money. Due to inclement weather we were unable fly into Paris the day of our show, we tried emailing them in advance to change our reservation to another available day but they refused to work with us in any capacity. For such a "high end" show you would think their customer service practices would match, but in the end we wasted over 300€ for two tickets. Extremely disappointed as we were excited to see a genuine Cabaret...
Read moreSave yourself the hassle of dealing with the chaos of the Moulin Rouge and come here to enjoy an intimate show where you feel like you’re part of the action! As a lover of dancing and live shows, I decided I wanted to have the experience of seeing a cabaret in Paris. I did some research and decided against other more well-known options and opted for the show at Nouvelle Eve, and I’m so glad I did. When my boyfriend and I walked in, we were greeted and sat at a table that was actually touching the front of the stage. After a quick look around the theatre though, we could see it was a relatively small space so even those seated a few rows back would still feel included. We paid slightly more and were given a bottle of champagne which we felt was worth the extra cost. Then, the show started and it was surprise after surprise in the best way. There were so many talented performers and much more than just dancing! And through it all, each of the performers did an incredible job interacting with the audience and making them feel like they were part of the show. Overall, it was very entertaining and I would highly recommend this cabaret to anyone who’s looking for...
