Puce — Restaurant in Paris

I was just strolling through the neighborhood looking for possible food to order for take away and stumbled upon Puce. The doors were propped so I walked in to order. One of the employees let me know they weren’t open yet but I could get a coffee and sit. I told her I just wanted to order take away. She asked what it was and had the kitchen start it even after I offered to come back once they opened. I ordered the popcorn chicken and they were very delicious. Loved the over-the-top customer service and the food....

This place was a nice surprise. It's the concept of tapas but not tapas like Spanish tapas. Instead you get to choose from a great variety and original choices of small cooked dishes to share. The service was great and very friendly. They have today's specials. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. We had a bottle of Côte du Rhône which was perfect. The wine was bit expensive but great. Nice cafe with small but diverse menu, great waiters. Nice interior, and as we were around 16:00 so it was not so busy. Could notice that food was freshly made and served. Might seem a bit pricey for comparatively small portions. And personally for me, one of my dishes, which were green beans, was a bit too oily and salty. But the quality of the food...
