La Source — Restaurant in Paris

I don't recommend it at all!

Deplorable service, the waitress simply forgot about us for 2 hours, we ordered a bottle of wine and she didn't came to let us taste it or ask if it was okay. She ignored us completely all evening.

The food was shockingly bad in quality, a salmon starter at 15.5 euros that was a package of salmon you can buy at the grocery store, put on a plate, no dressing, no salad, just salmon on its own that just came out of a package accompanied by a cold baguette and a small jar of butter, I should have taken a picture! . The main course was scallops at 28 euros, what a disappointment, 5 small scallops with a side dish of a thin slice of eggplant and two slices of tomato on top, the whole thing completely bland, no salt, even the scallops. My boyfriend ordered a tuna pizza, tuna crumbs, no taste, no condiment. We left very disappointed! We'll never...

I read some of the reviews about the service here and felt inclined to review. The service was great!

Our server(s) were very attentive and on top of us the whole time and we were a party of 6. He gave us a wine suggestion which everyone really loved and was very friendly when explaining some of the dishes. English was obviously not his first language (not a problem in Paris, obviously) but he was making a great effort to speak to us and had a great attitude about it.

The food was also pretty good, but our only critique is that we were told that the pizzas were personal size and they came out far bigger than personal size. Definitely safe to say that two people can share one pizza.

But other than that, everything else was really great! Huge shoutout to our servers, really...

I recently dined at La source, and it was an incredible experience! The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it perfect for a cozy meal. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our visit.

As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the Belle entrecôte , which was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful.
