If you're looking for an authentic Lebanese dining experience, then you won't be disappointed with a visit to Al Karam. This cozy restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of the city, and I recently had the pleasure of dining there.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, with beautiful Middle Eastern decor that immediately transports you to another world. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel right at home.
Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Al Karam is full of traditional Lebanese dishes, and each one is prepared with care and attention to detail. I started with some of the appetizers, including the hummus and baba ghanoush, both of which were rich and flavorful. The pita bread was warm and fresh, and the perfect complement to the dips.
For my main course, I opted for the shish taouk, which is marinated chicken skewers. The chicken was tender and juicy, with a perfect balance of spices. It was served with a side of rice pilaf and a fresh salad that was bursting with flavor.
To top it all off, I ordered the baklava for dessert. The pastry was flaky and sweet, with just the right amount of honey syrup.
Overall, I highly recommend Al Karam to anyone looking for an authentic Lebanese dining experience. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is top-notch. This is the perfect spot for a romantic date night or a fun night out with friends. Don't hesitate to make a reservation – you won't be...
Read moreThe food is just simply good!. Lots of options for non-vegetarians but vegetarians too can enjoy lots of options. They serve green olives and pickled turnip as complimentary starters. I had Baba Ghanouj with their pita bread for starters. The pita bread is very thin and soft, I have never had such thin and soft pita bread. they serve the bread slices warm and wrapped in zip loc so that it stays warm and soft and doesn't harden up. for main course ordered their chicken kababs cooked on skewers combo with salad and potato fries (more chunks than fries). Awesome dish!! They served a special garlic sauce to go with the chicken skewers. If you are a garlic lover you will love , love , love it! salt could be slightly less though. The Lebanese wines they have on the menu is a perfect compliment with the skewers. For desserts I tried assortment of their miniature desserts , amazingly good!! Three different types of baklava, semolina or cheese filled dessert is also amazingly good!!!
I suggest going empty stomach, you will walk out with a full stomach and a satiated mind! If I could give 7...
Read moreThis was the very first restaurant that I tried since I arrived in Paris. It is excellent!!! You have to go here, it’s a must. I recomment it with all my heart! 😍🥰😍🥰 🤩 Definately a 5 stars experience!
There was a really nice lady that served us (I ordered the complete menu with dessert at 28€, 135.06 Romanian Leu) and it was enough for 2 people + a nice lebanese beer for 5€ (24,14 Romanian Leu). Also tap water which is completely free :) (we don’t have this in Romania - yet). Food arrived very fast & it was plenty. I got out of AlKaram satisfied and stuffed.
We had tabouleh, hummus, a lot of lebanese pastries (salty and sweet), meats (chicken and beef) and the lady was so kind and she explained to us which sauce goes with what meat, what salty pastry goes with either hummus or eggplant paste.
Thank you so much for your top...
