I liked the location but not the service, safety and attention to customer comfort. They don’t really seem to care much about the customer once they hand over the key. Our room had a faulty lock and wouldn’t lock. Even though they have a sign that says “please lock the door on your way out” they told us no need to do it. I insisted that I don’t feel comfortable with leaving my belongings in an unlocked room and asked for a different room. They said they are fully booked. Then we saw that the door wouldn’t even open after a few locking attempts. Once they saw that, they gave us another room (so they lied!). Additionally, the housekeepers work in such a messy way. The corridors are already quite narrow and the housekeepers leave everything (trash, used bed linen, their cart,… in the middle of the corridor making it i possible to pass!! I had to lift my suitcase on top of my head to pass that mess and get to the staircase on checkout day. And finally, you need to hand over your key everytime you leave and request it again when you get back. There is a 24/7 reception but they don’t ask for identification when you request the key (and it is a completely different person at the reception everytime). All you need to do is say your room number. So technically I can just say any other room number if I know they are out and get their key! A bit scary. Not a good...
Read moreThe hotel is very well located, opposite the Gare Montparnasse and very close to the metro station Montparnasse Bienvenue. It is in a safe area with plenty of cafés, bistros and restaurants nearby. |Our room was compact (as advertised) but with a comfortable bed and good ensuite. It faced onto a busy street, so there was a certain amount of noise from the street in the late evening and early morning.|My only complaint would be the absence of mugs or milk sachets in the room, although this was quickly remedied on request.|We didn't have breakfast here, but there is a good café (Café Jeannette) immediately adjacent.|It is a single metro ride from Gare du Nord, and with good transport links to the city centre and Versailles. The Tour Montparnasse is opposite the hotel, and the catacombs and Montparnasse cemetery within a 20-minute walk. I would...
Read moreok, the good things about this hotel is that it is very close to train station, and from there u will go anywhere u like easily, you are close to the Montparnasse Tower which have a very good view on all Paris, there is a variety of restaurants outside the hotel and within walking distant (burger, Shawerma, Indian food) and more in the nearby mall attached to the tower, so location of hotel is A+, the rooms are clean, bathroom with shower, and the only thing i need to note is that the rooms, hallway, lift, and breakfast area all are small, i imagine most of Paris hotels are small too, and the breakfast is not a worthy option, you better get a bite outside, and the streets are never quite in this area, so if you are willing to keep the windows open, you better be someone who can sleep...
