Le Petit Bal — Restaurant in Paris

We are totally disappointed. Me and my partner tried to have a calm chill dinner last week but it didn't go well. Let's start by mentioning that we both live in Paris permanently but we are both originated from Greece and that's important because according to our opinion there is no Mediterranean taste at this resto. The menu was totally bland and even the olives and the sardines were canned. BUT most importantly the problem is focused on the pork steak that we ordered. First of all the waiter asked us how we would like the meat to be cooked. Let's remember that we are talking about normal pork, so there's no other option than well cooked. Secondly the steak was absolutely stinking! Stinking from kilometers! But it was still served to us. We obviously didn't want to even try it in order to avoid any unexpected visits at the hospital. To conclude, the waiter apologized for the mess but to be honest no strings attached. We still paid for the whole table, of course without the roasted...

5 stars! My wife and I discovered this place randomly and highly recommend it. Although the menu is all in French, our waiter explained all to us in English with great descriptions and enthusiasm. The drinks, food, and overall ambiance is wonderful. The southern French cuisine is delicious. I look forward to coming back on future...

Je cherchais une adresse conviviale pour voir le match de l’Euro de l’équipe de France avec idéalement une terrasse et une cuisine sympathique. Mon choix s’est orienté vers le Petit Bal dont j’ai eu bonne presse. J’avais réservé une table pour 3 personnes pour le début du match, on a dû attendre que la table se libère (du moins ils ont dit aux clients de finir leurs boissons car la table était réservée). Il y avait forte affluence donc j’ai commandé directement au bar nos boissons le temps d’avoir la table et on avait soif (grosse chaleur sur Paris ce jour là). On a bien compris que les serveurs étaient débordés ce jour là, le temps d’attente pour la commande et avoir les plats était long mais la nourriture était bonne, les boissons aussi et surtout l’établissement se trouve dans une rue très calme. Après l’effervescence du match c’était encore plus agréable de profiter de la terrasse. Je vais y retourner pour me faire...
