I visit this coffee shop every time I visit Paris, if you appreciate coffee, then this place is a must visit!
Interior: a small and very cozy room, the first thing you see when you enter the coffee shop, but thatâs not all, there is another small room downstairs, so if there is no space in the main room, visit the lower floor. The interior is quite familiar for this type of establishment: wood, stone and metal. Despite the fact that there really is not much space, this does not create discomfort; on the contrary, it provides an opportunity to make new acquaintances and enjoy wonderful coffee over a cozy conversation.
Service: the coffee shop usually has one barista, but in general there are enough of them; they are always very friendly and ready to recommend a drink to suit your tastes. They are happy to answer any questions. It's always appreciated, it's also important that the baristas also understand the grain.
Coffee and food: a great fourth wave bean. I think this is some of the best coffee I've ever tasted. In addition to single varieties, there is also excellent cappuccino and desserts. The downside is the lack of heartier dishes; I would happily eat a sandwich as well. Otherwise, the place is incredible.
The very sad thing is that both times I was too busy with things to do that I could not spend enough time inside and take a bag of grains with me, since I was traveling with one backpack. But if you're in Paris,...
Read moreThe coffee is very good and they do the surface latte designs to a tee. The reason to go there is that itâs just a street away from the crazy foodie pedestrian traffic of Montorgueil and it exists in a kind of hush, like an air pocket just under the surface of a frozen lake, the frozen lake being a metaphor for your commitment-phobic yet deep mind, and you can sit at one of the cute little wooden tables and the light from the street will illuminate that side of your face you reserve for selfies (choose your seating carefully) and itâs quiet enough in the cafĂ© that you can mutter âYou know, I really enjoy your companyâ to however is sitting in front of you, even if you hardly know that person, and the setting will amplify that sentiment and make it interpretable in maybe five or six...
Read moreI really liked this small cafe. The staff was very friendly and worked through my broken English. The place is quite small but has a neat seating area and a clean toilet downstairs. If you have more than 4 or 5 in your party you may not find a place to sit. There were several people here by themselves on their laptops taking up a lot of space.
The cappuccino was pretty good. The yogurt and granola was pretty good too. However, this place is very expensive. âŹ36 for two pieces of bread, juice, Americano, cappuccino, breakfast sandwich, and granola.
If a cheap breakfast is what you're looking for, you won't find it here. You'd be better off getting some croissants...
