I rarely write reviews, but my night at Bachaumont this weekend was so exceptional I must share my experience. I had an unforgettable celebration with my family. As we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's elegant, understated interior; the serene atmosphere set the perfect tone for a remarkable meal.
The food was outstanding—I had the Roasted Prawns with Madras Rice and a selection of starters, all beautifully crafted—refined, flavorful. Everyone loved the appetizers, each dish went down a treat.
What truly elevated our experience was the impressive service. I can't thank the team enough. The manager (I believe Ryan or Robert - I regret not asking for his name), was incredibly attentive yet discreet, thoughtfully guiding us through the menu and helping with recommendations. His professionalism and precision truly made us feel special. The chef even came to greet us after our meal, we were delighted.
After our meal, we headed to the intimate, trendy and sexy bar adjacent to the dining room. Another stunning space with a sophisticated vibe. I was particularly touched by the passion of one of the blonde barman, he was a charming gentleman with impeccable French, who also went above and beyond with his professionalism and patience. I only realized he was English at the very end of the night! He was just so passionate about his craft, ensuring that we selected the perfect cocktails and had a fantastic time. His attention to detail inspired me —anticipating our needs with such precision that he brought me a glass of water just as I had finished the last drop of mine! Along with an array of beautifully crafted cocktails and perfectly stamped ice cubes.
All in all, our evening at Bachaumont was a memory I will never forget with my family. An exceptional fine dining experience made all the more memorable by the unparalleled service. I've decided to write me review in English so as to be as helpful as possible for internationals looking to get a better idea of this restaurant! I went to Bachaumont for a friend's birthday dinner. I had no idea what I was walking into and I am so glad I discovered such an exquisite place. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried all the starters on the menu, and there is not a single one I would pass on. I had the "Pavelon de boeuf confit" as my main course : hearty, good sizeable portion, well presented. I had a side of mashed potatoes and to be honest I'm still not over them : the creamiest I've ever had. We then tried all the desserts on the menu : fabulous, all of them. Probably the best crème brûlée I've ever had. I ate so much I could've rolled home and it was all worth it.
The manager, Rayane, was very helpful and insured we had a lovely time. Never an empty glass at our table on his watch ! The service was very much satisfactory.
