Little Shao — Restaurant in Paris

Very disappointed, I do not understand the rating…To the point I wonder if they are fake. First, the service. The waitress was so cold, not even a smile, no greeting, the “I hate my job” feel was beaming out from her. She did not even give us plates to eat, we had to ask Second, the food. The dishes were just IGable, but that’s it! The taste was blend. But worse, everything is from the microwave!! Everything. They are not even trying to hide it, they are doing it on the counter, you could hear the waitress opening the microwave oven, closing the door, setting it, hearing the beep and opening the microwave again. And for every order… Third, the price. For such a price, you better go to a normal Chinese restaurant. You might not get such a decoration, but you get better taste and not from the microwave.

We ordered: Sheung jian bao, duck and pork: it was crispy at the bottom, but not juicy at all, and the duck ones were even dry Stir fried noodle beef: very blend and the beef was cold (not heated long enough in the microwave!) Banban deep fried chicken: clearly not deep fried as you order, it was dry and hard, and also too salty Shao mai shanghai: only thing that was okay

J'ai mangé sur place ainsi par des commandes sur deliveroo. Les plats sont exceptionels et j'ai recommandé à mes proches également. Mais aujourd'hui je laisse cette commentaire après avoir eu une vraie mauvaise éxpérience et d'ailleurs j'en ai déjà senti pendant mes visites précédentes. Lors de rush-hour il n'y a presque aucun service pour les clients sur place. Ils sont tellement focalisés sur les commande à livrer donc il y a beaucoup de retard pour les clients qui mangent sur place. Rien que pour commander, ça prend 15-20 mins minimum d'attente pour parler avec un(e) personnel(le). Il y a des QR code sur chaque table et on peut commander en scannant cela mais il n'y a pas bcp de réseau dans le restaurant et wifi n'est pas très efficace. J'ai reçu un plat plutôt tiede, ce qui est étonnant de recevoir un plat comme ça sur place car quand j'ai commandé sur deliveroo le plat était bien chaud. Je l'espère pas mais j'avais l'impression que le plat était pour quelqu'un d'autre et on me l'a donné. Le pire est arrivé quand j'allais payer mon repas. Il y a qu'une dame qui s'occupe un peu de tout à la caisse. Elle prépare des commandes, elle encaisse des gens, elle passe des commandes aux livreurs, elle sert des plats.. J'ai attendu minimum 10 mins juste pour payer mon plat et quand c'était mon tour, elle commançais à préparer des commandes. Je lui ai dit que je suis un peu préssée après avoir attendu 10 mins, elle me dit il y a des chose à faire avant.. je lui indique le numéro de la table que j'ai pu voir sur ma table, elle a l'air pas compris donc je lui montre où j'étais, elle me dit froidment "Je savais pas où vous étiez donc.." Je lui demande s'il y a 2 mêmes numéros de table dans le restaurant et elle me dit il y a des mêmes numéros à l'intérieur et l'éxtérieur. Excusez-moi mais ils doivent savoir mieux pour leur propre réstaurant pour acceuillir des clients au lieu leur accuser. Il y avait bien des autres personnels dans la salle mais elles s'occupent seulement nettoyer des tables et ramasser des plats et pourtant j'ai resté avec un plat de quelqu'un, froid pendant 10 mins à côté de moi. Je pense qu'ils sont tellement en manque d'organisation et manque de respect pour les clients qui viennent manger sur place. Je pourrais commander sur deliveroo désormais cependant ça devient plus cher que sur place donc cela n'est pas intéréssant au final. Faut refléchir d'accepter uniquement des commandes en ligne car c'est impossible pour les clients sur place avec ce niveau de service. Bien dommage pour les plats avec...

The service and the environment are good, but honestly the food is not authentic at all.

Perhaps it's okay if you never had Xiaolongbao and Shengjianbao before, but I'm from Shanghai and honestly it's disappointing. The Xiaolongbao is supposed to be soupy and it's not. The skin is broken and there are large pieces of spring onions in the filling which should not be the case. The Shengjianbao is supposed to be crispy at the bottom and it's not either. The Siumai skin is dry and chewy.

My partner and I live in Melbourne where we have great Shanghainese food options, so we had similar expectations given the high ratings, but we were really disappointed. We spent over 60 euros for 5 small dishes and unfortunately none of them were good. If you are looking for authentic Shanghainese food, I would not...
