It is NOT SAFE to dine in this restaurant! Not recommended from my personal experience at all!

I and my sister had a reservation on 14th Mar 9pm for dinner. While we were having the meal, a weird guy just came in and get very close straightly to our table. Using a glass to hit our table, making some noises and also tried to rob the phone from my sister!! However, he failed on my sister’s, BUT he then took my phone and left right away. We were so shocked, and our table is even not right next to the door, and there were still some tables distance!

Why is it possible that a weird guy can just came in all the way to customer’s table while there are several staff inside, and there was No any waiter or waitress to even stop him, but just let him came so close to customer’s table (what if today, he was holding a knife and just stab customer and ran away?)

It’s kind of the lady from the restaurant let her people went out to search for a bit, and willing to let us use her phone for tracking. But, she then just said from her experience, there is no use to contact the police, report the crime, and no way to track the scoundrel down. (So, even it’s actually, literally happening this kind of nasty things in your restaurant, and every time, you can only say is there is nothing to do on this? )

Also as mentioned, our table was not just right next to the door, there are still some tables distance between. However, we can tell clearly that the guy was very certain where we put our phone, and did the thing without any hesitation. Based on this objective outcome, we are sorry but we will assume that it is possible that someone in the restaurant may actually an accomplice, and tying to make some fortune from their customer together.

If really, there is nothing you can do to stop from this in your place, I do feel you can at least make the compensation to your customer.

In addition, If there is nothing you can do to stop this kind of dirty things from happening in your own restaurant or to make it better. Seriously, there are so many other fine restaurant in Paris, why do people choosing to dine in a restaurant that we CanNot even be relaxed and have the meal with our families and friends?

As above, it’s my personal experience that truly happened upon my second day traveling in Paris (just happened 2 weeks ago!!! ). After reviewing Google reviews's recommendation, we were expecting to have a lovely dinner there, HOWEVER, it was just literally a...

Nice spot a few doors down from the Moulin Rouge with an affordable menu and excellent service. The food I am giving 4 stars only because our mains were so good - the starters were all over the place. The pork belly and steak mains - fantastic. The escargot - while decent in size, lacked flavor. I am a big escargot fan and order it a LOT. These were not good. The kaarage chicken - had good flavor but instead of being crispy was a bit soggy. The foie gras en croûte itself was just alright but the chutney it came with was pretty tasty. The white asparagus was a bit too mustard-y for me but my husband loved it. I’m giving this restaurant only 3 stars for ambience since we were seated upstairs, which was only a few tables and a bit dull with white walls and no street view or anything. It kind of seemed like “overflow seating”. This restaurant has so many 5 star reviews. Either they are mostly Americans going to the Moulin Rouge who really don't know how good French food can truly be, or my family ordered the wrong dishes. Overall, if you are going to the Moulin Rouge it would make a decent spot for a meal beforehand, but I wouldn’t seek this restaurant...

Paris has a hidden gem called Le Sanglier Bleu that is worth discovering. The food was absolutely fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

We started our meal with the escargots, which were cooked to perfection. They were tender, flavorful, and served with a delicious parsley butter sauce. The Bavette d’Aloyau was also excellent. The steak was cooked to a medium-rare perfection, and it was so tender that it melted in your mouth. The Tartare de bœuf traditionnel was another highlight. The beef was fresh and flavorful, and it was perfectly seasoned.

The service at Le Sanglier Bleu was also excellent. Our server was also one of the owners and was attentive and knowledgeable, and she made sure that we had everything we needed. She also made some great recommendations from the menu.

On entering the "Blue Boar" you could tell you where in for a treat. The menu had a good selection and was so appealing. We had a hard time narrowing down what we wanted and would be satisfying and filling. We choose the Thai beef and a multi coloured tomato salad for starter's. The taste was sublime, with the soft texture of the beef melting in my mouth. Another sublime creation was the the the tomato salad with Basil sorbet OMG what a taste... Our waitress "Aminata" was great and took great care of us x... We followed with yummy handmade ravioli and a succulent cod dish, both very good. And dessert well well well what a treat... rhubarb tart topped with delicious strawberrys and cream, and my lovely wife had...as we Brits would call it a Rum Baba... All in all a most delightful evening. Infact that good where going again tonight and might try some of there lovely looking cocktails...
