This is a hard one to score appropriately. On the one hand the show is excellent, with skilled performers and spectacular stunts. On the other hand, diabolical organisation and crowd control. You are instructed to arrive 30 minutes before the show to be herded into a run down old cinema. Herded probably is not appropriate as at least cattle on the way to slaughter have room to move. After waiting 30 minutes(the time the show is supposed to start) you are allowed access to the next queue, back down the stairs you originally came up. If I hade wanted a scum,I would have visited our local rugby team. You are then directed through a narrow tiled corridor, single abreast. The only thing missing here was a urinal,so reminiscent of a gents toilet. You then join the next queue! At this point my backpack was confiscated. With regard to large red comment on the booking stating âLuggage and travel bags are no longer allowed in the cloakrooms !â You pack all the essentials that wonât fit into the dress handbag into a small knapsack, only to have it taken off you in the line like a naughty schoolboy , after it was searched and cleared at the security check. You are then finally allowed into the hall and escorted to your table. After 45 minutes of cramped sweaty standing in a mass of people you try and ease your aching limbs to enjoy the show. All of the above may seem petty but I am used to queuing. However, at ÂŁ100 per person, billed as a stylish event with a dress code (clearly not enforced in any way) you would expect some degree of professionalism in crowd management, this was 11pm on a Monday evening in September , lord knows what it would have been like high season, considering this is the most famous show in Europe. The atmosphere and ambiance of this most famous show was marred by the shabby treatment of its paying âguestsâ Come on Moulin Rouge, you should be able to manage...
Read moreCame with my friends yesterday night for the brazilian event, her ticket had a problem (because of their organization ) and she was trying to sort it out with the girls at the desk. At some point we hear the blonde girl screaming at our friend, our friend was shocked as it came out of nowhere. She didn't have time to understand as the big bouncer came in and pushed her ( literally) out. The bouncers at the front were super condescending when she asked for a manager because this was not okay, he said he was the manager and that she will not be speaking to anyone else. She did not get her refund and was not able to come to the event as they didn't like her saying that the company had a responsibility in the matter as she was not notified of the shift in the tickets nor refunded. We did not understand why she was denied the access as she did nothing wrong and was very cordial with the saff. You should fix your team behavior issues. It is not okay to push a girl btw.
Response:
As I said, my friend did nothing wrong. I witnessed it, your staff was rude, was screaming at her and did not offer her the option of getting another ticket. All they did was push her out. But the way you are trying to pin it on the victim here shows that this rude behavior is implemented deeply in your...
Read moreScandaleux !
