Les 2 Pianos — Restaurant in Paris

TERRIBLE! I went here with my girlfriend. We asked for a menu because we planned to stay a while for coffee then eat there later, and the waiter rolled his eyes and went to get it. We ordered our coffees and the waiter laughed at us and said “…a menu for 2 coffees…” and walked away shaking his head. What amazing service! I don’t think bar work is for you mate. We stopped off for a light lunch and a coffee and sat outside in warm weather. The coffee was lovely. I had a delicious and fresh Burrata with salad and bread, my partner had the gravlax and thoroughly enjoyed it. In fact I had a little food envy upon tasting her dish! The male server was polite and working at full steam. PASSABLE

Étrange concept pour ce restaurant. De l’extérieur, tout semble intéressant mais une fois dedans, mes espoirs ont fondus comme neige au soleil.

Tout d’abord le concept d’un restaurant « connecté » avec des tablettes. Sympa mais a quoi bon commander sur des tablettes si le serveur vous demande ce que vous désirer. Aucun envoie de commande en cuisine.

La salle de restaurant est superbe du point de vue de la décoration. Nous choisirons la terrasse pour notre repas.

Je regrette notre serveuse en t-shirt et baskets à strass dont le sourire rayonnera autant qu’un mur noir mat !

Surpris du pris du cabillaud excédant les 20 euros, je me rabats sur un burger maison (voir photo). La cuisson de la viande était très bien. Sa compotée d’oignon plutôt sympathique mais ohhhh blasphème ! Une tranche de Cheddar industrielle que l’on reconnaît à sa brillance, son angle magnifiquement droit et surtout, sa réputation pour ne pas bien fondre !

Mon amie et moi avions choisit mayonnaise sur la « tablette » et nous nous retrouvons avec 2 sauces ketchup et moutarde sans que l’on nous dise qu’il n’y a plus de mayonnaise. Ce que je découvrirai plus tard.

En conclusion, c’est un restaurant qui a du potentiel mais qui est mal exploité sur son service. Tarifs un peu élevé pour notre assiette (rentabilisation des tablettes sans doute ?) et pour le quartier Lourmel.
