Makhlouf Paris — Restaurant in Paris

I'm really disappointed with Makhlouf in Paris. The lady at the cash register is really rude. Last time we visited, she was mean to my husband. She kept making us uncomfortable. We were with our cousins and they were uncomfortable too.

Yesterday, we gave them another chance, we tried to order over the phone, she hung up on us twice, so we couldn't even order what we wanted. We ordered 2 chicken platters but we couldn’t order a shawarma platter because of what she did. When we got there, they said they hadn't even cooked the shawarma skewers, so we couldn’t order it, and she didn't seem to care about the phone issue.

Now, the food quality was a letdown. The garlic sauce was like watery and had no flavor. The chicken was dry and didn't taste good at all. We've given Makhlouf many chances, but the food keeps tasting different each time, and it's not authentic at all. We won't be going back.

Yesterday we ordered chicken platters, we called 2-3 times because she kept hanging on us the phone and yelling without taking all the order. When we went to take the order and add shawarma platters which we didn’t had a chance to order, she was so rude with us so we left only with 2 chicken platters and without bread. The food was cold, the chicken was so dry and had a terrible taste, garlic paste was tasteless and nonsense, the pickles and the fries weren’t delicious at all.Both the service and the food were equally disappointing, I would not recommend...

I have been to a lot of places in Lebanon, all over the country, and also in Europe and the US, but their beef shawarma sandwich is hands down the best I ever had. The beef is almost like pulled beef, it has a really nice bbq flavor to it and the texture is just perfect. Their appetizers (sfiha, kibbeh, sambousek) are also highly recommended. The guy at the register from Bcharri was such a nice man! I will try to get back there tomorrow to try their chicken shawarma as well. Oh, all the meat is halal! Best regards, the guy...
