Came in to the restaurant with a friend at around ~21:00 without a reservation. Still though, we were easily able to get a table for two on the floor above. We ordered starters, main course and some drinks and ended up paying 150 €.
Food - 4/5: For starters I ordered a wagyu tartar. It came with a side of radishes and something which looked like some kind of pink, icy beetroot sorbet. The meal as a whole was all right, but the meat itself felt a little bland. As the for the main course, my friend and I split a 950 gram tomahawk, medium rare, with sides of french fries and mashed potatoes. The tomahawk was pretty good, with proper seasoning, but plenty of fat was to be found around the sliced pieces og meat. Same with the mashed potatoes, which had a buttery aftertaste. The fries were as expected, average. We didn't end up ordering dessert though, as there was 5 minutes to them being closed.
Service - 3/5: The service was just about average, nothing bad, nothing spectacular. The server quickly realised that we spoke English and not French, which was alright. We started w ordering something to drink first, which was still water, from a bottle. But after repeatedly asking water from a bottle, not a tap, I gave up and had to settle for lukewarm tap water. The service overall though was alright, but it was a little tough to get their attention, when we wanted the bill.
Atmosphere - 4/5: The lighting and placement of the tables were okay, and there was also possibility to sit on some softer, more comfortable sofas with pillows. The one problem though, was the size of the tables proportionate to the meals were not big enough. We were barely able to fit the tomahawk with the sides as well as our plates and drinks. So the dining experience ended up feeling a little crammed.
Overall - 3,7/5: Alright food with a adequate service. Would recommend if you're looking for a good steakhouse for...
Read moreI just have one thing to say about this place “Wooow!!!”. I have tried other places of meat in the city but nothing with the quality that Loco can offer. I went with my friends on Saturday and we ordered 600 gr of rumsteck and 300 gr of bife de chorizo to share between 4 people (with 4 fries and a mashed potatoes). The meat was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and with a lot of flavor! We also ordered a bottle of wine Doña Paula that really matched with the meat. For dessert we got some panqueques with dulce de leche and ice cream, really good touch to end our night. I have to highlight the staff, it was incredible how since the first second they made us feel welcome and they were super happy to explain the concept, the menu, and to give recommendations, also they spoke to us in Spanish, but I heard them talking in multiple languages with other customers (also very impressive). Keep doing like this LOCO’s team, I am hoping to come back again and have the...
