Maison Zhang is a true gem in Paris’ 9th arrondissement. This modern and friendly Chinese buffet has been delighting the Rue des Martyrs area for over seven years, and for good reason: the food is fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious. One of the restaurant’s specialties is its steamed dumplings, which are always fresh and mostly homemade. The selection includes vegetable, shrimp, pork, chicken, or beef varieties—offering around fifteen different options in total. The menu changes seasonally and features mouthwatering dishes such as caramelized pork, lemon chicken, crispy tofu with celery, or eggplant with minced chicken. The portions are generous, and the flavors are both authentic and well-balanced. The prices are also very reasonable: on weekdays until 4 PM, you can enjoy a €10 menu that includes soybean or cabbage salad, 2 gyozas, 2 spring rolls, or 2 dumplings, followed by a choice of chicken, pork, or beef main dish with a side of your choice. The service is attentive and fast, and you can enjoy the dishes either on-site or as takeout. Maison Zhang is a modern and welcoming Chinese canteen, making it a perfect spot for those looking for high-quality Asian cuisine in the heart of Paris. Overall, Maison Zhang is an excellent choice for anyone seeking authentic and delicious Asian food in a friendly setting at an affordable price.

After walking past Maison Zhang for three days, we finally gave in to the call of their dumplings—and we’re so glad we did! Everything is served à la carte and came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The dumplings were delicate yet packed with flavor, and the chicken skewers were perfectly tender. While we’d been searching for something truly spicy in Paris, one of the dishes here surprised us with just the right kick of heat. Overall, every bite was a hit, and the casual vibe made it an easy, satisfying stop in Pigalle. If you’re staying nearby, don’t walk past it like we did—stop in and try it for yourself!

Tired of spending 20-40+ euros for average lunch food with small portions? Then come here! For 9 euros (10 with a drink) you can get a TON of DELICIOUS food that will keep you full for hours! With a ton of options and variety, no one will go hungry here and most importantly, you won’t have to mortgage your home to eat. Plus the staff is AWESOME, super patient and helpful! Couldn’t recommend enough!!

It's indeed an ideal place if you want to try different Chinese cuisine and dim sum at small portion for a good price. ( there are other great Chinese restos in that area too but usually their dishes are in big portion and meant for sharing l)

My husband and i will be leaving Paris for a 4 months world cruise and I want to fulfill my cravings for chinese food( especially my favorite bbq pork bao) before the trip, so we decided to try this place.

We have ordered 3 bbq pork bao, 4 raviolis, 3 dishes, a small portion of fried rice and a bottle of sparkling water, it only costs 26 euros!

Those dishes were very freshly made and tasty. Dim sum raviolis were super delicious. The bao was perfectly steamed, fluffy and warm, I've been to some places which is not only expensive, but their bao was in poor quality- outer layer was either mashy or dried out.

I went there during the lunch time and the place was packed with tons of people, I was glad that the lady working there was very patient with me and had a beautiful smile.

Can't wait to come...
