A truly lovely experience. Rarely do I give 5 stars but this deserved it. The food was to die for. I had creamy snails (pictured) to start - something many tourists (which I am here) may turn away from but - rich and creamy, very tasty. A delicious lamb and mash for dinner. The sauce was so good I wanted to lick the plate, but knowing better I mopped it all up with the table bread. Créme Brulée for desert, lovely. The service was wonderful. They even went the extra mile and served me early (before kitchens opened at 7) which I very much appreciated, especially given the weather. Incredibly friendly and great English - always good for a traveller. Recommended a great rum to drink as well. Warming and cosy atmosphere brought it all together. Recommended for any local or...

Cafe gourmand was just sad. Cup of small fruits, bread pudding, stale madeleine, not great. Get a single dessert if you must, the panna cotta...

Food was the best I had this trip to Paris. The lamb stew dish was quite incredible and they do Baba au rum the right way bringing the bottle to...
