A truly lovely experience. Rarely do I give 5 stars but this deserved it. The food was to die for. I had creamy snails (pictured) to start - something many tourists (which I am here) may turn away from but - rich and creamy, very tasty. A delicious lamb and mash for dinner. The sauce was so good I wanted to lick the plate, but knowing better I mopped it all up with the table bread. Créme Brulée for desert, lovely. The service was wonderful. They even went the extra mile and served me early (before kitchens opened at 7) which I very much appreciated, especially given the weather.
