Was very disappointed with this hotel. Apart from the good location this hotel has a lot to improve. I only stay with Marriott properties when travelling and live out of hotels than I do in my own homes. This hotel was by far the worst property I have stayed at. Service Does not meet Marriott standards at all. Our check in took over 30 minutes because the person attending us, Mathilde seemed to have to go to the back to ask her manager for everything. As a titanium member there was no acknowledgment or even offered the usual bonus points or option of breakfast. While we stood over 30 minutes seen other guests being checked in, offered vouchers for drinks, upgrades, and even breakfast. There was ongoing construction which we weren’t even advised about until I overheard and asked for everything offered to other guests. Next morning I received an email from guest experience staff asking about our first night so I decided to let them know about all our concerns even about the amount of time it took for concierge to bring our bags upstairs and no acknowledgment or response. Did nothing to make our experience better even after letting them know. Atleast an apology but nothing at all. Breakfast was the same everyday and nothing changed. Could have set out different types of potatoes atleast but it was exactly the same everyday. The staff working in breakfast area were kind but front desk staff really needs to get more training and how to handle guests. Really unfortunate because location was great and travel to Paris often for shopping and this place I will never stay again in. Ps. Thought the kids elite check in stair case was a nice touch.

As a Marriott Titanium Elite / Lifetime Platinum Elite Guest, I made a reservation for our family (husband / wife / two teenage daughters) using my Marriott Bonvoy points for a five (5) night stay at the Le Méridien Paris Arc De Triomphe as the first-leg of our month-long European summer vacation. The reservation was made approximately four (4) months prior to our arrival date in mid June 2025. ||Within hours after making the reservation, I emailed Mr. Federico Anedda, the Quality Manager, and advised him of our future stay as well as our special requests. Shortly thereafter, I received a thoughtful reply from Mr. Anedda and he readily granted all of our other special requests. The prompt response Mr. Anedda did not come as a surprise given how active the management of this property is in reading and promptly replying to past guests on Trip Advisor as well as the Marriott Bonvoy website, which is a clear sign of management’s commitment to exemplary customer service. ||See our thirty-two (32) pictures of the hotel attached to this review since a picture is worth one-thousand words. ||Not only is the hotel conveniently located within steps of the Porte Maillot (i.e. a station on Paris Métro Line 1, which is connected to the station Neuilly–Porte Maillot on the RER C and RER E, as well as a stop of tramway line T3b), but it is in easy walking distance to both the Champs-Elysées and the Arc De Triomphe (both less than 10 minutes) as well as the Eiffel Tower (25 minutes). We never took the metro and we walked absolutely everywhere for the five nights that we were in Paris, although the hotel was very well served by the metro, buses, trams and taxis as noted. In short, you cannot get a better situated hotel in Paris! ||Our initial visit to the Le Méridien Paris Arc De Triomphe did not disappoint! We were greeted in the lobby Mr. Anedda and the check-in process was a breeze. We enjoyed the complimentary sparking water in the lobby while we waited mere seconds to check-in, despite our early arrival of 9:30 am into our courtesy upgraded huge corner Senior Suite on the 8th floor.||Further, upon entering our Senior Suite a few minutes after check-in, we discovered that Mr. Anedda and his team were kind enough to provide us with a thoughtful handwritten note welcoming our family to their hotel as well as a nice assortment of chocolates, nuts, juices for our daughters and a chilled bottle of rose for my wife. In addition, they provided us with a wide array of gifts for our family, including fanny packs, portable folding fans, red berets, travel diaries and a few other assorted gifts. A few minutes later there was a knock on the door and Sayma offered us additional snacks as well as several bottles of sparking mineral water and still mineral water as well as four (4) complimentary drink coupons for use at LM Bistro. What an incredible and delightful surprise on the part of Mr. Anedda and his team. ||We simply loved our Senior Suite, which was HUGE and very comfortable in terms of bedding, roll-away beds for our daughters and ample desks, tables and chairs for relaxing. The Senior Suite had two separate sleeping areas, two full bathrooms and two sets of closets, dressers and electronic safes. The housekeeping staff provided us with four (4) robes and slippers, extra towels, replenished bath products as necessary and provided several bottles of water daily. Further, the cleanliness of our Senior Suite was exemplary and for this we want to recognize the entire housekeeping staff. The complimentary Wi-Fi provided to us as Marriott Bonvoy elite guests was excellent throughout the entire hotel. ||As my Marriott Bonvoy elite amenity, our family enjoyed the humongous daily breakfast buffet in Espace Latitude, which was absolutely stunning since it offered both indoor and outdoor seating options. Espace Latitude has multiple seating options and it was an absolutely fantastic place to start the day ever morning! ||Now, onto a description of the food and drink offered during the breakfast buffet, which we attended all five mornings during our stay. The highlights of the breakfast buffet include the specialty coffee drinks, such as lattes and cappuccinos, hot chocolate and hot tea (excellent variety herbal and caffeinated teas), delicious orange, cranberry or apple juice, flavored water, various milks and nut milks. There was a nice variety of hot items each morning, including made-to-order omelettes, crepes and a wide selection of charcuterie (prosciutto, salami, mortadella, mozzarella, cheddar, manchego with dried cranberries, figs, apricots and strawberries), smoked salmon, crackers, oatmeal, bread, muffins, cereals, assorted yogurts and fresh fruit (oranges / apples / bananas / fresh cubed watermelon / fresh fruit salad). In short, the food and drink in the breakfast buffet was incredible and limitless! ||We also really enjoyed the spacious fully-equipped fitness center (which had an ample amount of free weights, cable machines as well as cardio machines) on the 8th floor, which had unlimited still and sparkling water, apples as well as an authentic Italian espresso machine for a jolt of espresso anytime. Immediately adjacent and through the fitness center was a huge outdoor deck with a clear, unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower. We, along with several other hotel guests in the know, made a nightly pilgrimage to this outdoor deck every evening to enjoy the illuminated Eiffel Tower just steps from our Senior Suite. How convenient.||In an extraordinary display of graciousness and hospitality, Mr. Anedda called us daily to make sure that our stay was absolutely perfect and unexpectedly gifted us four (4) tickets (at 22 euros per ticket) to climb to the top of the Arc De Triomphe as well as four (4) tickets (at 17 euros per ticket) to enjoy a 60-minute guided boat tour along the Seine by Bateaux Parisiens. In all of our years of elite status with Marriott, we have never been outright gifted local attraction tickets and for this, we give Mr. Anedda our endless thanks. This incredible gesture on his part will remain with our family forever!||The generosity and hospitality shown by Mr. Anedda and Sayma as well as the rest of Mr. Anedda's team throughout our stay was extraordinary. Every team member with whom we came in contact during our stay, including the individuals listed above, the helpful staff members at the reception desk and the other food & beverage staff as well as the house-keeping staff really went out of their way to make our family feel welcomed. Not surprisingly, the notable customer service that we received before and during our stay as well as the incredible accommodations in our Senior Suite, made this hotel a twelve out of ten in our book! ||If your travels take you to Paris, please don't hesitate to make this hotel your base of operations ... you won't be...

As J.W. Marriott once said:

“Success is never final.” and “Take care of your employees and they’ll take care of your customers.”

Rating: 8/10 – A Promising Stay with Room for Refinement: June 2023

It was a pleasure to spend time at this hotel, which offers much to appreciate. While my overall experience was enjoyable, I believe several enhancements could elevate the guest journey to the level of distinction this establishment aspires to.

To begin with, I would suggest a greater focus on enriching the guest experience through the introduction of more thoughtful services. A curated souvenir boutique located in the reception area—akin to what one finds at The Ritz—would be a charming addition. Likewise, playing classical music in the lobby would create a soothing atmosphere upon arrival. I would also recommend replacing the current juice station with a more refined welcome drink service presented by a staff member, to set a more gracious tone.

Staff members are generally polite and helpful, and I commend their efforts. That said, I did notice signs of fatigue among some of the frontline personnel. While understandable, it did affect the service experience slightly—I was, for instance, reluctant to allow any assistance with my luggage during check-out, given how weary a few staff appeared.

The air conditioning system functions well; however, the unit may require a thorough filter cleaning or replacement. I also noticed an unpleasant odor—reminiscent of burning plastic—in the bathroom when the mirror lighting was switched on. I am unsure of its source or severity, but it merits attention.

On the topic of maintenance, my room’s curtain control mechanism was unfortunately broken. Although I reported the issue and received an appropriate apology, such details matter at this tier. Additionally, I did notice one of the security staff near the entrance who seemed somewhat unengaged or possibly unfamiliar with their role—though this was more an observation than a concern.

The room itself was most agreeable, featuring a partial view of the Eiffel Tower. I was especially impressed with the bedding, lighting, layout, and the elegant design. The bathing amenities were of exceptional quality—truly deserving of five stars.

Culinary offerings were also impressive. I found the food to be delicious, particularly the halal club sandwich, which I highly recommend requesting fresh. Breakfast, while standard in most respects, did feature a delightful touch in the form of mini sambosas and kibbeh—both delicious and memorable.

The hotel’s communication and guest relations are commendable—professional, warm, and responsive. However, I would suggest enhancing the digital interface for in-room entertainment. The presentation of the welcome TV screen and hotel information felt dated and uninspired, which contrasts with the otherwise elevated ambience of the property.

Though I did not use the fitness centre, I did observe it to be well-equipped, clean, and with excellent air quality—a positive impression overall.

In summary, this hotel holds great potential and delivers a strong experience in many key areas. With a few refinements in service execution, atmosphere, and attention to detail, it could truly...

Honestly probably one of the worst Marriotts i've ever stayed at. For reference I probably stay in 100+ Marriott hotel a year as I travel for work. ||1. Price/Room: I understand being in Paris things are going to cost more, but what you get for paying over $300 a night is less than ideal.|Rooms themselves were extremely beat up TV was as old as you can get in Marriott. And the AC, not only doesn't tell you what the temp in the room is, but it was so hot I couldn't use the bed covers once and sweat every single night.||2. Breakfast: The food was okay honestly. I was lucky; because of my status I was supposed to get the breakfast for free every morning (otherwise $25 a person) but every morning they argued with me telling me that It was not included for me, thus I would go to the front desk ask them why this was the case, they'd apologize say it was updated and then the next morning the same thing would repeat. This was also the case for room cleaning. We waived it in order to get the extra points, however they would inconsistently come to clean, we would ask the front desk to waive the cleaning, and the cycle would repeat ||3. Staff: staff was average at best I really do hate saying anything negative about staff as I know they deal with a lot and take a lot of crap from guests. I had a lot of very nice people I talked to and then some that didn't want to give me the time of day, and I'm talking about even just saying hi to them. And on top of that I got scolded at by cleaning staff because they were trying to clean my room and I mentioned we had chosen the green choice option. |If you ever contact staff via the messaging system expect to not get a response for a couple hours and normally for them to tell you they can't do anything with no additional suggestions. ||4. There was construction that they did mention at check in, and it's understandable, but it was very very loud every single day. Not everyone will deal with this obviously but did contribute to my stay. ||5. Elevator: thought It was fine until my wife got in and I followed, door started closing on me, and like any normal hotel, I expected it to open as a person was trying to get in. Nope! Continued to shut and I decided it wasn't worth getting trapped and jumped back out to not get closed on. The elevator had absolutely no automatic safety feature to prevent closing on a person, frankly it was a really close call and extremely unsafe. I am lucky that I chose to get out instead of trusting the supposedly "automatic" safety feature. IF that elevator does indeed have the safety feature, it needs to be repaired asap! ||Overall, this was one of the worst Marriott experiences I've had in a very very long time. All things considered, especially taking in the fact that it's $300+ a night and breakfast being a steep $25 per person for what you get, it was just not worth it. Do yourself a favor and get a nicer hotel for the same price (even if it's outside the city a bit more, we ended up having to Uber to get to any of the tourist...
