We had a great experience here! The cook Samba explained how to order since it was our first time here & gave us samples of all their sauces before we ordered. We got two plates - jollof rice w/ beef and mafe sauce & jollof rice w/ chicken and coco sauce along with a side of wings (we only ordered 5 but got 7 & some fries for free!). The portion sizes were super generous - we didn’t finish it all. When we asked for a box togo, Samba kindly offered to pack it for us and added MORE FOOD. They are so generous here & handed me a ton of ginger candies on our way out. Loved the food but the service made our experience even better! Can’t wait to come back the next time I visit Paris :)

This is a crazy good place! I have never really had African food but I feel like this wasn't a bad introduction. They had plenty of options for people to choose from and plenty of combinations. I got the large and didn't expect the large to be so much food. If you get the large, expect to share it with someone or get very full. For a large I believe it was around 12€. With Paris prices, this is an amazing deal. The hot sauce is very HOT.

This is a crazy good place! I have never really had African food but I feel like this wasn't a bad introduction. They had plenty of options for people to choose from and plenty of combinations. I got the large and didn't expect the large to be so much food. If you get the large, expect to share it with someone or get very full. For a large I believe it was around 12€. With Paris prices, this is an amazing deal. The hot sauce is very HOT.

I recently visited Osé, and I was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant offers a delightful array of Creole flavors, each dish presented beautifully. The staff is incredibly friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I especially enjoyed tasting the sauces and the unique sides that accompany the dishes.

One standout for me was the Atieke, a fermented manioc base that resembles couscous in texture but offers a distinct and delightful taste. It's these unique elements that make Osé special.

The food was disgusting! It tasted nothing like African food. The atieke had a weird taste like it was frozen and unfrozen so many times and had rotten. The mafé didn’t taste like peanut but more like sage and some kind of weird flour mix. The chicken wings were alright. They were out of a lot of things (plantain salad etc) didn’t have much choice. I did not finish my LARGE BOWL. The worst part is that I found myself throwing up in the streets of Paris a few minutes later.... not going to lie.
