PAPI Restaurant — Restaurant in Paris

Food was great but the service was terrible! Made a reservation for 2 and arrived on time for it but we were sat at a table with one chair and a stool because that table was meant for 1. Meanwhile there was a lady seated alone at a table for 2. Poor management, clearly they don’t check their reservations.

The waiter kept unapologetically bumping into my partner while walking around so we asked to move (twice) since the single lady had already left but they were too egotistical to let us move. It was only until the waiter bumped into my partner hard enough that he finally gave in when we asked to move for the 3rd time.

They should hire real servers and remove one table since the restaurant is too small. They should be able to afford that since the food is...

Pure style over substance. The melanzane that is cold perhaps still fresh out of the fridge and reheated, the aubergines were warm the cheese solid cold.

Fresh oricchiette pasta perhaps, but they weren’t well separated and coagulated. The flavours were just good with a mashed pea sauce, hazelnuts, ricotta. It’s difficult to tell if the ingredients were well sourced given they weren’t really made to standout…

Nothing exceptional, and at 21€ the dish and 17€ the melanzane I would expect something above average.

At this point you are better off trying any of the many excellent italian...

Stumbled into it without planning, the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, the service is nice and the hostess was really helpful and translated the whole menu to me! I ordered the duck appetizer and it was phenomenal! The textures and taste are really balanced. For the main dish I ordered the truffle spaghetti and it was ok, especially after the exceptional apptizer, it needed more salt. After that I ordered the tiramisu and it's really interesting dish with a Japanese twist, it surprised me wih it's taste, I cant describe it. All over all it was a nice experience that I would...
