Awesome Vietnamese restaurant in Bastille area of Paris. awesome location easy to be found and great taste of food. It’s 3 of us having our early dinner there and we tried the best recommendations for Pho, the pho was delicious but unfortunately the broth wasn’t that deeply taste. the beef salad, it was delicious we like the homemade sauce so much because its sweet and sour and spicy and tangy at the same time, it blends well with the fresh ingredients of the salad which is green vegetables plus walnuts. and the shrimp spring rolls very fresh and the shrimp very big and generous 🍤 with peanut sauce. The staffs all very kindly and helpful even during the busy hour, really appreciate it. We’ll definitely be back.

Tasty food, long opening hours. It appears that the restaurant focuses on hygiene as the tables get cleaned thoroughly between guests and the staff were all wearing masks. The prawn summer rolls tasted a bit cold as if they were made early in the day but the noodles and rice were very tasty. Reasonably priced too. However the lady was arguing loudly with one of the other staff members in another language, in front of other customers which didn’t add up the experience.

But not a place to hunt for authentic vietnamese cuisine.

We arrived and the place was not full. Two other tables filled up after we sat down, yet the staff waited on them before they even gave us a menu. The polite waiter brought us a bottle of water. There were no water glasses on the table, efforts to get the attention of the wait staff went unnoticed so we took glasses from other tables. After a long wait we were served our food after the 2 other tables were served, well, 2 out the 4 of us were served. We were almost finished when the 3rd order arrived and we cancelled the order for the 4th person and opted to just share. I am not sure what caused the delay. The bo bun was quite tasteless, the chicken did not taste fresh, and I had cramps all the way home. Authentic Vietnamese Comfort in the Heart of Paris!

Pho Passion is a true hidden gem near Bastille. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, friendly service and the inviting aroma of fresh herbs and simmering broth. I ordered the beef phở and it was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The fresh basil, lime, and bean sprouts on the side added that authentic touch I’ve been missing.

The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. You can tell they care about the food and their guests.
