Pho Saint-Georges — Restaurant in Paris

If I could give minus 3 then I would. We arrived first for the evening service (4 people). We made our order to be told only one of our main course selection was available. Ok so three of us changed. The starter for 2 people then arrived 10 minutes later a 3rd starter arrived 10 minutes later 2 main courses arrived that we hadn't ordered. It was explained to the waitress that we wanted all four starters so we waited another 15 minutes. After we had eaten our starters the two main courses that had arrived earlier came back, they were noodles no one had ordered noodles. The waitress told us it there was only her and one cook in the kitchen. When she was asked if our actual main courses would arrive within 3 minutes of each other she said it couldn't be guarenteed That was enough we paid for starters and wine then left. Probably the best pho I’ve ever had and I’m visiting from Ottawa, Canada which is well known for their pho. We ordered the special bo bun (must try), beef pho, stir fry noodles, and fried shrimp and they were all very flavourful and delicious. The bo bun was nicely presented with lots of fresh ingredients. The pho broth and stir fry were all perfect to taste! The fried shrimp was also especially crunchy! Last but not least, the waitress was very friendly and polite. My only wish is for bigger portions or perhaps a sizing option in the menu. Overall, a definite must-try for both locals...

We ordered the day's special, opting for the entrée + plat du jour (2 nêms poulet + poulet curry) for one person and the phô de boeuf for the other person. Both delicious, well-presented and authentic. The service pretty good but it could improve (one server was very shy and had a hard time with both French and English, while the other was a little intense with her manners). Inside the seating was comfortable and the temperature (25+ degrees outside) was well-controlled by two powerful fans. We liked the music (classical violin) but not the decor (stickers on the walls).
