STÉRÉO — Restaurant in Paris

I came without a reservation and was received very graciously by a young man behind the bar. The only table available was outside and it was chilly but upon eyeing the cozy vibe inside, I was content to take what I could get for the moment and patiently wait out there. Worth it! The bartender kept an eye on me and filled my glass minutes after it was empty. I had asked for a full bodied and dry red and he gave me probably the best Malbec I’ve ever had. After some time a table freed up and I was kindly invited inside where I had the chicken entree- the mushroom sauce was incredible and the bread offered was moist and lovely. This place has a wonderful setting and vibe. Delicious, small hand crafted plates with intentional flavors. We were so excited to come here after reading about it in the NY Times. The restaurant chef and hostess were unfortunately very rude to us as we were foreign, visiting from Mexico. They wanted to seat us in the back when the front was totally empty. I was so looking forward to spending time at a local wine bar but felt so unwelcome we skipped dessert. The place deserves 5 stars and hopefully they are nicer to other foreigners...

Heard about this bar, from a friend. I was just astonished by the music quality and the vibes of customers. Back to authenticity, so though to find nowadays.. Everybody was chilling out with a glass of wine, speaking to each others while waiting for their toilets turn. Barmen were pretty handsome, friendly and gave quality advice for my wine choice. Fast service, great products, music and people for an awsome quality/price ratio! Loved it, will definitely come back ASAP keep...
