My husband Alan and I can not write or rave enough about this place. Last October, we figured we would go right across the street from our hotel the night we arrived. It was our first time there, but we promised them we'd be back, and we kept that promise, FOUR TIMES in TWO WEEKS. And we brought our friends. We just went to Paris again in September, stayed again at the marvelous Hotel George across the street and of course we ate at Les Impressionnistes the very first night. And then again. 3 times again, in fact. And we brought the same friends. Lindsay and Sylvain are ADORABLE and FANTASTIC hosts. Their chef is amazing. You have to go at least four times so you can get everything on the menu. The nems, the tuna, the burger... all superb. The menu features very innovative fare, and the prices are excellent. We feel so at home there. They should not have 5 stars, they should have 30. We went our last night, and when we left, I cried all the way across the street, and then some. You will, indeed, be Tres Impressionne by Les...
Read moreWe ate here on our last dinner in Paris. It was actually the first night the restaurant had been serving dinner. Firstly, the owner is very kind and personable. He seemed really passionate about his new restaurant and it showed in the food. He brought bread and butter and walked us through the menu personally. We got a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced and went well with the meal. We got the fish appetizer which was delicious. Then we got the beef filet and duck breast entree. Both was amazing, but the filet was the best steak I had in a while. We ended with both the crème brûlée and chocolate mousse. My partner was wanting to split one dessert, but after one bite of the crème brûlée he was happy we got both. He had never had a crème brûlée he liked until this one. The mousse was good too. After dinner he gave us recommendations for our trip to Nice. Overall, the experience was amazing and I’m so happy we went and I’m glad we got to support a great man and his restaurant. 10/10,...
Read morePretty good classic French food at this little restaurant. We got 2 meat based dishes, with a creamy side (mashed potatoes, polenta).
The steak I got was okay. I asked medium rare but it definitely got served medium well to almost well done. I asked for another and the same result was sent out.
The duck however… super delicious and cooked perfectly. No brainer for the duck to be better than the steak dish. Absolutely get that if you’re in the mood for duck.
The snails were pretty good too, herby + fresh sauce. Nice. I would say 3* if I just got the steak but the duck was so good that...
