Visited by local patrons and tourists, this is one of top places in the 13e/5e arrondissement to get a quality seafood platter with impeccable service. Go hungry and don't be shy of ordering the big platter. Excellent meat options as well.
Update - it's been a few years since my last visit. I went today of a December 31st lunch with my spouse and had a great time. Restaurant Marty clearly sets high standards for courteous service, fast and efficient. Really felt welcome, had a great table in the covered patio.
We had made a reservation 2 days in advance, a wise choice because all tables in the patio were reserved in advance. This being said, the place is so big, I'm sure it could handle walk-ins.
Nice clientĂšle, lots of local couples and small groups of friends and family. This is not a loud place, people here mind their peace and can enjoy a quiet lunch.
For the main course we had the veal and the bavette (flank steak) and for appetizers: fresh oysters and white truffle ravioles. Everything was good.
