Resto Louvre — Restaurant in Paris

Had a wonderul experience with food. However, the reason I am.writing this review is biy different. I ate around 1 Pm, paid my bill and left. To my surprise, they saw me after almost 9 hours, recognized me, called me and told me that there was some.erro.in the card reader machine so money was never deducted for my bill. I was bit concerned but the way that beautiful.young boy was explaining me the whole situation made me rethink the whole situation. I realized he might be right so decided to pay again (to save our time). On my way back, I got to know he was actually right, that senior chef was pre occupied while getting my bill as there was this large group thay came to dine in and he was passing instruction to his colleagues. Secondly, amount that I thought I paid here was for another place (wheel tour at museum). I am writing this to say big thank you to the young boy,who was constantly sweet to me and kept apologizing. You are a hero, man. I wish you true happiness and success throughout life. And my huge respect to that beautiful old man who works here and 'that colleague' who spotted me, told the staff and thay cute very young boy who came running after me calling Bon jour madame'. You all.gave me a life time memory and trust on 'what is meant for you will come to you'. (As I asked the kind guy, what if you could not find me again, he said, we believe in God. Thank you, I will.always carry this trust in God with me....

The worst restaurant I have ever entered in my life!!! We came across the place as was hungry and walking around late in the evening, we were targeted for being tourists and the guy gave us a menu on the street and told us to come in and order. Me and my friend ordered a burger and fries along with some drinks, the burger was completely RAW which made my friend have to go to the toilet and was sick. I told them I am not happy with this service and can we just pay for the drinks as I didn't even eat mine after seeing my friend be sick. Then the staff members were so rude saying "there is nothing wrong with our food", "show us the proof she was sick", "are you saying our food is bad", "I will eat it behind you and then you will have to pay up!!!". After about 20 minutes of back and forth another customer walked in and then they quickly changed their tone to look good in front of others and allowed us to pay just for two drinks which were already 12 euros.

This was out first day in Paris and this experience really ruined a lot of the trip for us, it is an absolute tourist scam as others have mentioned so if you do read this review when looking for somewhere to eat please DO...

Eat somewhere else, malpractice at play here.

I generally do not write reviews but the practice of the shop owners is making me write one so that others can be spared of the money that they are wasting.

We ordered food and the waiter very casually asked for fries and cheese. I denied but my wife said yes, given he made it sound like it was complimentary with the food. We asked for tap water and the waiter noted it. A few minutes later after the food was served, the waiter brought water bottles, to which I reiterated to give tap water and he mentioned that there isn't such an option. We refused the bottle water as during the time I was waiting for food, I read the reviews and learnt that I am being scammed. (Turns out that the small bottles are 3 euros each!). When the bill was served, I was shocked to see 6.90 euros for a little bit of French fries. This according to me is day light robbery. I also do not remember now, for sure, but the wrap that we order was at least an Euro pricier than the advertisement that was posted outside the shop.

Food was okay, terribly expensive. I don't mind paying for good food.

Save your money and go somewhere else....
