How can they impress World Travelers, Royals, Aristocrats, Sheikhs, Leaders, Titans of Industry, Billionaires, Stars, Artists, Athletes, Singers the Jet Set crowd and the Husband who Saved up to Surprise his wife sooo BRILLIANTLY? Well, it’s easy to understand when you realize it’s a LVMH property (the parent company of Louis Vuitton, Dior, Celine, Fendi, Givenchy, Bvgari, Gucci, Dom Perignon, Moët, Hennessy, Burberry, Prada, Chanel, Geurlain, HERMES, Kenzo, Loro piano etc etc). THEY SPECIALIZE IN LUXURY GOODS AND EXPERIENCES…We stayed there in March in a Suite on the Seine with Gorgeous sweeping views of Historic Paris from the Eiffel Tower to Norte-Dame. My wife said it BEST…its the Most Luxurious Hotel and Experience in France now. It’s the Brainchild of Bernard Arnault, the CEO and Master of Luxury lifestyle. He Brilliantly hired the most talented Hotel Executive in the World, who was the GM of the Famous Fabled Palatial Hotel in the World…Elite Ivy League Educated Christian Boyens insists that guests are treated like family(Schooling doesn’t teach that…he invented it from his HEART ) Christian Boyens rose to fame in the High End Luxury Hotel Space by overseeing the the Historic Renovation of the Ritz Paris then he melded elements of Sophisticated Elegance and Service to create the ULTIMATE LUXURY EXPERIENCE FOR ROYALS, ARISTOCRATS, ELITE, STARS, SINGERS, ATHLETES, CEO’s LEADERS and POLITICOS. The secret to Mr Boyens success is a RARE ingredient…FAMILY. He teaches his staff to Respect their Patrons like family. Like we are in his home, like we are valuable members of his family and that means “Spoiling, Respecting, Caring, Giving and Exceeding our Expectations”. The amazing part is… he’s loved and adored by his staff because of the kindness and respect he shows them as well. How do I know? I saw it, The staff told me, like an army of Luxury guards, they will follow Christian anywhere❤️ When we checked in, we were astonished with the level of warmth and Professionalism shown to us by everyone. From the inviting Doormen who we adored because they were so helpful and kind, the Bellman, Front Desk Reception-the young man who checked us in and his manager who was absolutely amazing-she greeted us on checkin and walked us out on departure(we Love Her), amazing Concierge, Security team like Jemel , in room dining, Restaurant like assistant Manager Lucy to the Spa team and housekeeping. When we checked out from our Dreamlike stay… my wife said how can they be so perfect and caring at the same time to make us feel so SPECIAL? I looked at her, smiled and said… Christian Boyens, the BEST HOTEL LIFESTYLE EXECUTIVE IN THE WORLD CREATED THAT. So, go to Cheval Blanc, relax and enjoy a wondrous experience and be treated like Royalty because you deserve that 🙏❤️ I must add a cute story… when we were leaving the Hotel for the airport to our waiting Black Car…all the doormen ( more like sons to us… they were so helpful and sweet) were saying goodby like family, the reception staff were there too ❤️ I started handing all of them tips until my pockets were empty lol. There’s something special about the Cheval Blanc staff, I haven’t seen that level of kindness in all my Lux trips. They made our trip MAGNIFICENT and to Spoil my wife and make her smile is...

Stayed in CB last month and loved it so much we came back the following month with our family. At this price point there’s a lot of hotel groups in this category now - one might even say it’s a competitive market. You would expect the rooms to be generous, intuitive and comfortable - Cheval Blanc does not disappoint, nor does it miss an opportunity to impress.
Rooms. You enter the room with small treats and surprises which go over and above any other hotel. I won’t spoil here because they are wonderful surprises upon entry. The hotel knew we were travelling with our son and so they gave us plush toys, crib, changing table, baby towels, bottle warmer, and balloons - which our son insisted we bring with us everywhere 😅😅. Beds are very comfortable and blackout blinds - we had no issues sleeping. Bathrooms are ample, Dyson blow dryer and steam showers along with enough creams to make an elephant’s skin smooth.
Food. They have bakers coming in at 2am and 4am to make cakes, croissants and pastries for hotel breakfast that are at a level I haven’t seen in any other hotel. The breakfast menu is ample and staff attentive. Some standout dishes for us were the waffle which was ultra light and crispy. Only fault I could find is as a coffee lover, the coffee is typical hotel quality and would have been nicer to have barista-level cappuccino which you’re starting to see in hotels in Australia. Hopefully something adopted by leading hotels in the future 🤞🤞
In room dining food is at restaurant-level quality. Table is set for you and you have your very own private dining experience which is nicer than the usual fold-out cart table. In-room dining setting is same as the restaurant with Cristofle flatware. One of the best in-room dining experiences. Food comes in 25-30 minutes and not 60+ which makes a difference when you’re hungry and feeling lazy.
Hakuba - Japanese omakase - we didn’t dine here this time.
Langosteria - generous fine Italian seafood. Upbeat music and vibe that makes it a fun time. Wine list is great and Krug Grande Cuvée by the glass is considerably cheaper than by the bottle - so drink up.
Plentitude we dined at last time and this was as you would expect from a 3 Michelin restaurant - a hyper focus on service, produce and sauce. Wine list also very complete - praises to the Head Somm’s wine selection - while wine is certainly on the pricier side - it is served with Zalto and not a copy-cat glass at least.
Service. Never in another hotel have I experienced such attention to service and hospitality from all the hotel staff. The front desk were a pleasure to converse with and always had an eye for small gestures which make the experience at the hotel personal. Concierge service is very thorough and provides printed agenda for the day - when you have a family like mine - where it’s easier to herd cats - this was incredibly helpful because everyone knew what was happening and when.
So for all the small aspects and the larger ones this hotel was unforgettable with unparalleled service. Cannot wait...

For our 10y anniversary, we booked the Jr Balcony Suite with the panoramic view of Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame 1/2 a year in advance knowing this is the most desirable 5* hotel in Paris, especially when the 3* Plenitude is there. Location was central. The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived to when we departed, including welcoming treats for our anniversary and birthday. The in-house car service was a great addition which allowed us to go to nearby attractions. The concierge was very accommodating and responsive to our needs, as well as the reception staff, checking on us whenever we return to the hotel. The gym and pool were rarely used and it felt like having your own private workout spot! The Dior Spa was wonderful and Plenitude did not disappoint. What disappointed us the most was the fundamental issues with our room 606 and the deficient sound proofing of the building. We knew this in advance from other online reviews about the noise from the furniture moving on the 7th floor rooftop bar/restaurant, but didn't realize this would happen after 1AM after the place was closed as the staff were cleaning up! Being the floor below meant we couldn't fall asleep when we could hear the furniture moving around for at least an hour until past 2AM. I hope they could sound proof the ceiling and 7th floor better because this would certainly be a deal breaker for us. We notified the reception of this issue and were provided with ear plugs the following night but clearly this was only a band-aid solution. A 2nd major issue is this annoying green blinking light at the ceiling area right by the windows at the head of our bed (see photos). I don't know what it was but when sleeping on the window side looking at this strong blinking light really made it hard to fall asleep (plus the ceiling noise)! I guess we were too tired to notice these issues the following few days of our stay, but I couldn't imagine this would happen at any 5* hotels! The 3rd issue was that there were no black-out shades so the curtains left a gap where the light could come through. The hotel's solution was at turndown service they put a black scaffold up against the window to block off the light from outside (see photo). I hope they will have a permanent solution to this because it really looked amateurish and we had to remove it to access the balcony at night. We gave this feedback to the hotel survey and the GM was responsive with a personalized response which was nice. Overall, this was a wonderful hotel with impeccable service but we were shocked by some of the fundamental flaws of the room design. Hope they will have a permanent fix to this because the guests should clearly be aware of these...
