SOBERANO — Restaurant in Paris

I celebrated my birthday in Soberano with a reservation for 10 people initially, which they allowed to increase for 16 people within two days of the due date. Food portions are generous which is something rare in Paris but common in our hometown, Colombia: and we were glad about this detail. Prices are good considering the portions. Unfortunately, our visit didn’t live up to expectations. The food was quite mediocre and tasted like it had been reheated more than once. The atmosphere was just okay—nothing special. What really let us down was the service: it was slow and inattentive, and we didn't feel welcomed at all. For the high prices, we were expecting much better quality and experience. First timer towards Columbian food! Picked fried plater, rice with coconut chicken. The plater is all about deep fried food from fried prok belly to fried banana and cassava. Was an ibteredting experience! The rice with coconut rice tastes similar to indonesian, or thai coconut curry chicken. Overall was a nice experience.
