I have no idea how this place is getting ANY 5 star reviews - maybe it’s the decor? We had a terrible experience, and unfortunately, I’m pretty sure you will too. Here’s why.

We were seated right away when we arrived, awesome first step. Once we were seated it took 30(!) minutes to get a server, and only because we flagged down someone else. Ok fine, could have been an honest mistake.

We began to order and we’re told 1) we could only order drinks from a very limited preset menu (ok…maybe we missed something when booking that said this), and 2) we could only order all at once and in sequence of drinks, starters, entrees. Apparently the waiter couldn’t handle basic ordering? Anyway, fine.

Next, literally less than 2 mins later, the food arrived. We hadn’t even gotten drinks yet. We thought this was strange but thought - maybe there’s a mistake, but the order looked right and at that point we really just wanted to eat and leave. Until we took a bite - and all of the food was AT BEST lukewarm. The pasta, salmon, lobster..:nothing better than room temperature.

We tried to flag down the waiter to get our water that never arrived, and to ask them to fix a mistake with one of the entrees, but he was no where to be found. After we waited a minute more, we just decided to leave.

Magically, the server showed up as we were leaving to ask why we didn’t say anything to him if there was an issue. To be honest, we would have if we had seen him. Anyway, we agreed to wait to speak to the manager. They then proceeded to have an entire discussion in French right next to us and eventually asked us what happened, which we explained, before telling them there was no more discussion needed, and we were leaving. So we did.

The only silver lining was that the chef said ‘no problem, it’s ok’ before we left. But no apologies, no offer to make it right, etc. We will definitely not be back and we hope you...

There are simply no words that can describe this experience, like wow! My friends and I went to Paris as our holiday trip and we chose this restaurant, because we saw it on Tiktok and it did not disappoint. It was such an amazing and cool experience.

We entered the restaurant and were greeted by very big neon lights, writing "Ephemera" and as we were guided to our seats, I was simply amazed by the creativity of the restaurant. The design of everything was really nice. They really have eye of detail. The ceiling was decorated with things you would find at the ocean, e.g. sea shells, sea stars, coral, jellyfish and etc. The screens were set up so you could almost experience being in the ocean. The floor has the layout of the sea. It was very cool to see.

The scenery displayed on the screens, were also interpolating, which made the experience even cooler. My friends and I kept experiencing different sea levels, which also changed the display on the screens. Depending on the sea level, you'd see different sea creatures and different environments. Very cool. During our dinner, we haven't seen one sea level being repeated.

Regarding the food: amazing. The portions were good, not too small, not too big: perfectly sized. I really enjoyed my dish. Usually I don't go for tuna as my preference is salmon, but I'm so glad I picked the Tuna tataki! It also had the sweet potato side dish which really complemented to the Tuna tataki. My friends also really enjoyed their food, so we really recommend this place if you want to experience something cool and also eat nice food for a...

The attitude and mannerism of the host was so bad. Rude and unprofessional, we made reservations weeks before and were 5 minutes late. Gave our table to someone else and told us to wait for 90 minutes for another table. AFTER waiting for 90 minutes, he told us to that he doesn’t have a table a blamed it on the fact that I was late! incredibly irresponsible and immaturely unreasonable! As if I needed to Beg him for a table, and so after waiting for a total of 2hours including the time I had to explain to him that he is unreasonable, he gave us a table with poor service. Food was normal, ambience was dark and some cheap projection junior school artwork fishes, price was slightly on the high side. Given that The host was so arrogant and unreasonable. It is common logic that I won’t return and will not recommend this Restaurant! Unless you want slightly over priced normal food with fairly poor service , dark ambience with cheap projection gimmicks and a VERY Rude and immature host.

Some might be fascinated by the dark room and projection gimmicks, personally for me , it’s nothing special. Been to a few actual underwater restaraunts, this is purely a con! For those who never been to the real thing, it should be a big Wow.

Awfully distasteful experience !!! It’s a Big L, the thought wasting my money there is...
