I just traveled to Las Vegas and Stayed at Luxor Hotel from 1 Sept 2017 through 5 Sept. 2017. When I and my Fiancee arrived there to get our room things went smooth. When reached our room it was like 90 in it so first thing was to lower the thermometer to get the AC to kick on. We put our stuff in the room and left letting the AC cool the room down so we thought. From the time we received the room at 1 pm it was like 115 outside so we drove to other casinos to waist time. We showed back up to the room at around 10 pm to get some sleep before starting the next day. Walked into the room and it was like we walked in the first time I called guest services and they said we will have a tech come up in the morning and find out what is going on. I said ok we can't stay here so we will just kick back in the Casino where the AC was working great. Around 9 am the Tech showed up and said yes the thermometer had a problem and took apart the AC and found a line problem also. He told me to give it a few hours and should cool down the room so again left for the day. Later that night around 6 pm we were super tired as we had no sleep so we went into the room and it cooled a little like 80 in there then when on the phone they said they were going to send someone up. A person knocked at the door with a fan in his hand and said to put the fan on the AC and should cool the room. With the fan we were able to finally fall asleep with no covers on us in the morning we were already sweating so took a shower and was dried by the time making back into the room again called down there and they told my fiancee that it was because we were on the 20th floor and the outside of the building is black it attracts the heat. After having such a harsh night stay there the final last day they asked us if we would like to move to another room. Talk about upset I almost blew up on them as our plane left at 8 am in the morning. We decided to stay up in the casino all night and turned in our room at 5 am. When finally arrived back home in Washington State we slept the whole day and the next day wrote to Customer Relations and they wrote back one time saying sorry we will make it better next time and when I responded again they never wrote back since.||Be aware of this Hotel and Casino make sure before you go into a 115 degree temps that the AC does in fact work before you get the room that way you have a chance to move otherwise you will be forced to stay in that room with a Fan to cool you down. Please share this as we tried to fix this problem with Luxor and they are not writing us back or trying to...

This is a good basic hotel. The lobby and staircases look untidy, but my room (54 - small single) had been refurbished - it was clean and new, with a comfortable bed and ensuite shower and toilet. These were not spacious, but not as cramped as many budget hotels. The Rue Ernest Renan is quite busy, and I needed to keep the windows closed while sleeping because of noise (even on the 5th floor). Also, there is some vibration from the metro running under the street. There is no air conditioning.||||The hotel has a lift, but it was not working when I stayed - check if you find several flights of stairs difficult.||||The hotel has good connections to both Paris and Versailles:||Paris: Metro M12 Corentin Celton is five minutes walk away||Versailles: Tram T2 is less than five minutes walk away, and takes you to either Issy Val de Seine (for RER C) or Musee De Sevres (for bus 171 - useful late at night)||Alternatively, it is a 20 minute walk to either Issy Val de Seine (RER C) or Vanves Malakoff (RER B).||||I did not try the breakfast (8 euros), preferring instead a hot one from MacDonalds opposite Corentin Celton metro (5 Euros). There are several supermarkets close by, and a large number of small restaurants and takeaways (mainly catering for locals, and priced accordingly).||||When I return to Paris and Versailles, the Luxor Hotel would be on my short list for basic accommodation, but it is not a "must...

had a pleasant (though short) stay here. i ran into some issues with the payment through booking.com, but when i called the hotel, they sorted it out quickly and efficiently. i called again later to ask about check-in time, and once again, they were super helpful. check-in itself was smooth. the elevator worked… strangely, but nothing too serious. when i opened the room and saw an ac unit, i was thrilled. finally, a night of sleep with freezing air. but when i pressed the remote, the tv turned on instead. turns out, the ac was just for show. luckily, there was a fan in the room, which helped a bit. i also had a nice view. apparently not guaranteed, so i must’ve gotten lucky. the bathroom was small but well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable. one downside: not enough plugs. only a few scattered around the room. overall, more than okay for the price. especially for a hotel in paris.

Title: Loyalty Means Nothing Here – Cold, Rigid, and Disrespectful Review: After four years of loyalty, we were shocked by how cold and inflexible the new hotel management has become. They’ve replaced hospitality with rigid policies and refused any understanding or flexibility, even in good faith situations. There was no appreciation for our long-term relationship—just a robotic insistence on fine print. The new management treats loyal guests like strangers, showing zero human consideration. Even a simple coffee wasn’t offered during check-in. We no longer recognize the warm service that once made this hotel special. If you value respectful treatment and human connection, stay elsewhere.

Very disappointing stay. We stayed here for several days, but the bed sheets were not changed for a long time. There were visible mold stains on the bedding, and even after 3 days, they were still there. When we pulled back the covers, there was a terrible smell coming from inside. One of our group members even woke up with swollen eyes, likely due to the poor hygiene. This was completely unacceptable for a hotel.
