This is just the cutest, most adorably authentic Vietnamese coffee shop that I happened to find. First and foremost: I am Vietnamese, horn and lived there for 14 years before moving. The coffee is EXACTLY how it’s made in Vietnam. The coffee beans, the condensed milk are both imported from Vietnam for the most authentic taste. Besides coffee they also offer other Vietnam drinks like avocado smoothie (trust me it tastes way better than it sounds, don’t think it’s weird).
The typical experience in a Vietnamese coffee shop is like this: you get a glass of water along with some sunflower seeds the moment you get in. They serve everything on a metal tray, then put on top of a small plastic stool. Honestly besides the fact the owner is white (her husband I believe is Vietnamese), everything else is exactly like in Vietnam. From the ridiculously tiny plastic stools, to the stamps on the wall, to the Grab bike helmet etc.. they all give you the vibe that you’re in Vietnam. Absolutely...
Read moreExtremely rude female owner. Disrespected my friend upon him asking a simple question. Coffee is fine, served with expletives in Vietnamese and an unwelcome attitude. Reached out for an apology but never heard back. Not to mention they advertised the sidewalk seating unique to Vietnam (it’s in the name) but we were told that “we weren’t allowed” to do so. Wasted our time despite being given several chances. We will never return, which is a shame because I really wanted to like this shop and expected a warm, familiar atmosphere just like at home. You can have Vienamese specials like « Cà phê sia dá » (iced coffee with condensed milk). I had a refreshing Iced Coconut Coffee (€6) and my friend tried the Salted Creme Coffee (€5), sooo goood!
