While I loved the environment, and had some delicious cheesecake, the experience definitely left more to be desired. My friend and I waited for about half an hour, not too bad for an experience we were excited for. However, once seated, it became clear the staff was just trying to move along to get more people in seats. The food and everything came quickly, but felt more like they were trying to get us out of there ASAP. The cats were mostly sleeping, which is not an issue, cats do cat things. However, children kept getting up from their seats to chase cats or pet them while they were sleeping. The staff didn’t say anything to the children. When my friend and I got up to pet a sleeping cat, a staff member immediately came to us and told us to not bother the sleeping cats. I asked why, since the children seem to be able to do it with no problem. I left quickly after that. I paid to be there and see the cats, don’t tell me to not pet them. I understand not bothering sleeping cats, but my soft petting was definitely less invasive than a child’s hands,...

Absolutely not family-friendly. Visited with my 2- and 4-year-old, who were excitedly watching cats through the window while we waited. After my toddler gently tapped on the glass, a staff member slammed on it aggressively, terrifying both children to hysteric tears. They’ve sworn never to return. The café also appeared unhygienic — many chairs were unusable due to cat urine, and the tables looked dirty. Rude staff, and questionable cleanliness. I wouldn’t even drink water here.

Responding to the owner:

Slamming against the window is not the same as tapping, and there were multiple other customers in line who witnessed the incident — some even left the queue after seeing it. Please be careful about how your staff’s version of events is being presented. His behavior was aggressive and made my toddlers cry — this is the truth of what happened. From the window, it is easy to see cat fur on the seats, cushions, cutlery, and tabletops. This is not just my opinion; many other reviews here describe...

Had a nice lunch, I had the burger, my friend ordered a streak, however was given a burger so we had to order again, not much of a problem just had to wait a little longer after an already long wait. The staff were apologetic, and I'm sure this was just a small mistake, with how busy it was and how many orders they had to take. The cats were friendly, however some little kids kept scaring them a bit, so they didn't come up to us much after unfortunately. The desert was nice, I highly recommend the chocolate fondant, be aware it's a large portion however. Don't bother with the cafe gormon it was alright but nothing special. I think this place would be nicer if it was reservation only (to cut the wait lines outside), and the place had fewer people, as the cats seemed a bit bothered by the number of visitors, in fact I only saw five, only two were friendly enough to come up to me and the rest were hiding away from the crowds. Can't say...

update: i came again after one year and it was one of my worst experiences in any cafe the waiter was holding the entrance door with his hand not even telling us to wait outside and it was full sun 30° midday we ordered a chocolate cake and tea as last time but the chocolate cake came visibly overmicrowaved (for 10€) i asked for an extra tea cup because it was two of us and the waiter slamed the cup on the table ? without a saucer i really didnt feel good there and i already had a bad day last time we spend quite some time here but now i was just thinking to leave on the way out i was looking at cats and i swear the waiter just was right behind my back waiting to tell me something and that one cat woke up because of me i just cried the way back if you hate your job just dont work there please 2024 really one of best teas and cakes in the city not too sweet cats are just there but maybe try to come when there is not many people

The menu is only in French, which is not very accommodating for tourists. The server were not attentive when taking our orders as she was constantly on her phones. Unfortunately, the worst part was when our food arrived - the potatoes were clearly burnt and the entire dish had a burnt taste to it. After informing the server, they brought out another plate of burnt potatoes (see attached photo). Furthermore, when we opened our burgers, the meat inside was also burnt. When I asked the server about this, they responded by asking me what I wanted, saying that the food was cooked 'well done.' However, I ordered mine medium-rare, and well-done doesn't mean burnt. Although the server eventually replaced our dishes, my family and I had lost our appetite and do not recommend this restaurant.
