Vieux Belleville — Restaurant in Paris

I believe people go there mainly for the live music. The show was amazing but the food wasn't great (except for the dessert that was delicious). I believe the prices are high as they are also charging for the uninterrupted four hours of show. She deserves all the credit together with the waitresses and I hope they get a good cut of the profits. We went on Saturday and the place was packed. At least 50 people and we all arrived at about the same time as the live show starts at 8pm. Only one waitress and another lady on the bar. Despite that, they managed to serve food incredibly fast, although I did feel that the chips were reheated as they felt hard.

Overall we would go back because of the lady with the accordion made our night...

We came here after watching the documentary. The place is absolutely lovely. Almost as if you join some friend's table and spend the night in a very familiar way.

We liked it so much that we went there two times during our stay. The food was rather good, but not amazing. From the options I tried, steak is the recommended. A vegetarian plate was also prepared on request with a multitude of things and it was very tasty.

The athmosphere is magnifique, you sing you feel welcomed and although it may get loud, you easily get a sense of privacy in you table. The music is joyful and energetic and lifts the mood while still mantaining some lightness.

This old French cafe restaurant is extremely lively! Old man plays the "orgues de Barbarie" all night! Communal tables invite diners to sing along classic songs from Edith Piaf, Charles Trenet, Jacques Brel and many more while eating and drinking terroir dishes and wine. Located in the XXth arrondissement, it is a guaranteed memorable evening to spend and live like a Parisian from the 1920 to 1950's.
