We are having our breakfast here almost everyday and all the staff are nice and welcoming. I give our order at the cashier, take a sit, wait to be served and they’ll bring you your receipt once you’re almost done eating. Today, I did the same thing, fall in line, waited for few minutes because there are 3 people in front of her. Greeted the lady in the cashier with an up-do hair, the lady didn’t even smile or greeted me at all. I gave my order to the lady and tell her « sur place ». The lady in the cashier said « take a sit ». We thought, that since I gave our order already, they are suppose to prepare it because for almost everyday, that’s the routine when we come here. After approx 5-7mins, her colleague (nice lady with long hair, pony-tailed) asked our order. We told her that we already ordered at the cashier. Few minutes, she came back and said that her colleague didn’t understood. We gave her our order and brought it right away. We have finished eating 30mins and we still haven’t got our receipt. I was just disappointed about their service today, the lady who doesn’t know how to smile and greet their customers, I waited on the line for our order to be taken but asked to sit. And wait again for someone to take the order. Is it that hard for the lady to take orders « sur place » and go again at the cashier to pay? I think their service during weekdays and weekend...

NOT TOURIST FRIENDLY! Stood in line, bought a few pastries...when asked for here or to go I said to go coz wasn't sure how much we'd finish...Stepped into the left side of the shop and were yelled at by a rude blonde lady who said we can't eat the pastries we bought to go since they are more expensive if you sit down to eat...I said I wasn't aware and that we were going to buy 2 lates to go with the pastries...she said no. Pointed to the stand up tables right in front of the line...meaning you can eat there. We left. I was sorry I had already gave some of my business to them. Plenty of shops around that are friendly and accommodating to tourists that spend a money on overpriced patries. Besides the horrible service the pastries we got tasted okay. But definitely not...

Where, in the world of food service, are you required first to order and then to find a table? If you don’t find a table, after you ordered, what are you supposed to do with the food? This is the golden rule at Yamazaki, Passy, written in golden letters at the entrance of the place. We were shown the door, by a very unpleasant elderly shop assistant, after we reserved a table while waiting in the queue to order, as someone, who had already ordered and got the food, requested our table. After all this is the country where Eugene Ionesco wrote most of his work. We and our friends:...

Absolutely incredible! First time I got there (yesterday), I got the Choux Yuzu and it was so good that I had to come back today. Unfortunately, they were already out of the choux Yuzu so I got the Choux de Vert (matcha) and Choux chocolate. They were also really good and both fillings were absolutely amazing! The service was also great and they were super friendly. Next time I'm in Paris, I will definitely come here again!
