Nice, clean, Korean restaurant. Dined as a group of 7.
My biggest disappointment is that the portions are small for its prices. The seafood pancake was probably the only thing worth it's price for it's size. (~15eu)
Tteokbokki was nice in taste, but once again, small in portion. There were only 6/7 actual rice cakes under the cheese. Cheese and sauce tasted good though! (~17eu)
I shared the Korean bbq grill with two others opposite me, so we ended up ordering the same thing so 4 portions. The pork belly was only 1 slice + 1/4 each, and the beef bulgogi was cut super thinly and we only each had a slice (as it stuck together) (~21eu). So all in all, I ate 1 pork belly slice and also 1/2 thinly cut beef slice.
Service was lacking, I sat on the end of the table and the waitress kept on dropping the menus, plates and at one point tipped over my water over but didn't bother to refill my cup for me. She also didn't clean up the table properly as there was still water on the corner.
Now taste wise overall, it was nice. A good assortment of side dishes and also a decent portion of rice. Just a shame about the portions of meat! It's expensive for what you actually get. Saving grace that you can ask for more side dishes so even if you won't get full from the meat, at least you have sides I guess...!
Would I come here again by choice? Probably not. But am I super against it? No......
Read moreSecond time in 10 days. Have already planned my third. My favourite Korean BBQ in Paris. Really great food. Cosy but slick decor. Diverse clientele, comfortable background hubbub of multilingual conversation, warm atmosphere. Eating amidst people obviously enjoying themselves makes everything taste better.
Efficient, friendly, helpful staff. I leave super satisfied and feeling lucky to have somewhere to go when I want a guaranteed lovely evening. Particularly when combined with a post dinner drink with the wonderful folk running The Honey Moon bar across the road. Currently my...
Read moreWent there with some friends since we had reserved, and the first thing the servers tell us is to hurry up because there aren't many seats and that another group would come later.
Food was good, but we felt pressured by the glances the waiters gave us, almost telling us to hurry up and leave since there aren't many places to sit. Really a shame since it's a nice Korean bbq place despite the loud background music, but we clearly felt pressured and uncomfortable, hoping that the glances the waiters gave us weren't some sort of racial discrimination (we were a group of black and...
