We ate here on 12 Jul 2023. It was fun and they were very welcoming and the decor is fun - a little dark - there are zombies on the wall - real painting! I hope that you try this place. I like their concept. This is the second of their restaurants which first started in the 15e . Anyhow the owner was kind, he spoke both french and english. FLUENTLY. He was kind and he was so careful in the preparation of our sandwich. Just watching him was a pleasure. He grills the sandwiches inside parchment paper - it's cool. I had the 50/50 which was excellent and has pastrami and pastrama (50% and 50%) and... special sauce, onion confiture and arugula and pickles. It was delicious. The portion size was so large you could split it and have it for lunch or dinner the next day. (Just like Katz's deli in NYC) My companion had the Le GOAT. It is pastrama with goat cheese - and crispy onions and fig confiture. He loved his as well. Both are excellent. His is cheaper by about 2 euro. So... 50/50 if you want pastrami, and save 2 Euro if you just get the pastrama. Both are super good! I highly recommend this place and run don't walk to them. Eat here as much as you can. We got the Big Poppa pastrami sandwich this time, shared it between us and honestly, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Perfectly balanced, packed with flavour, just ridiculous in the best way. Last time I had the Pop Smoke which was also unreal, but this one might top it.
Staff were friendly, proper good vibes all round. Place is clean, nicely put together with some cool merch on display. They even let us try their limited lemongrass chicken and it was mad, super unique flavour, but it really worked. Easily one of my favourite food spots in Paris. Will 100%...
Read moreMe and a few of my mates went to The Smoked Meats Paris 11 over the weekend and WOW — I wasn't disappointed at all. The pastrami was perfectly smoky, juicy, stacked high, and the best I have ever had. Proper portions and the sauce they put in the sandwiches was crazy good too.
The staff were super friendly and happy to answer any questions. You can tell they love what they do, and it makes the whole experience that much better. We felt totally looked after from the moment we walked in.
If you're thinking about going — do it. Bring your friends, your appetite, and prepare to fall in love with pastrami. Will definitely visit again next time...
