Dear Georges and the Zincou team,
Thank you for your response. However, I am disappointed that rather than addressing my experience, the focus was on reporting my review rather than directly confronting the issues at hand.
As a former employee, I dedicated my time, energy, and loyalty to Zincou. Regrettably, my experience ended on an extremely difficult note due to unresolved financial matters. Despite several professional attempts to settle this matter, I have not received the compensation owed to me.
My rating reflects an honest account of my experience with Zincou, and it’s concerning that a company claiming to value transparency and integrity would choose to sidestep accountability. This approach should give future customers pause, as it reveals a gap between the public image presented and the reality behind the scenes.
For those considering Zincou, I encourage you to enjoy the ambiance and menu. However, I believe it’s important for customers to understand how the establishment treats those who have contributed to its success. Transparency, fairness, and responsibility are not just words; they are standards that should apply consistently, not selectively. I hope Zincou will address this matter directly and uphold these values...
Read moreMy recent visit to Zincou Vins and Tapas left much to be desired. Despite the promising concept of combining wine and tapas, the execution fell flat. The food was disappointingly basic, lacking any distinguishing flavors or creativity. It felt like a lower-tier range of dishes that failed to stand out in any way. Frankly, I would have preferred dining at a modest ramen place over this uninspired fare.
While the staff, particularly the young waiter, were pleasant enough, their kindness couldn't salvage the lackluster experience. It's commendable that they tried to make our visit enjoyable, but the underwhelming quality of the food overshadowed their efforts.
Given the abundance of excellent dining options in the area, I regret not choosing a different establishment. It's evident that Zincou Vins and Tapas has some room for improvement if it aims to compete with the culinary standards set...
Read moreWow what a gem of a local neighbourhood restaurant!! I had walked by here on my way to another restaurant but decided to come back because I had seen the types of dishes being served. Tapas style very generous sharing plates of heavenly gastronomy. Calm soothing flavours draw you in like a siren’s song. Perhaps a grain of salt or a dash of soy sauce short of utter perfection but I have an Asian palate that demands round the clock umami. Of particular mention was the ravioli. Despite the creamy unctuousness of the sauce and the carb overload, I could have eaten several bowls of it. Just superb. Service was delightful too. And to cap it all off, by today’s inflationary backdrop the price point was extremely reasonable. If you’re in Paris do drop by. The reviews...
