We really lucked out when we stumbled upon this little crêperie. We had visited Saint Malo and were looking for a place to get lunch, and they just so happened to have a table outside available. It was quite busy though, so a reservation in advance might be a good idea, as there were at least 4 groups that came and had to wait on their table.
I had a cup of delicious cider along with a savoury La Bretonne galette (buckwheat crepe) with a saucisse bretonne artisanal (artisanal Brittany sausage) and a tangy cream sauce with caramelized onions called 'soubise'. My hudband got a 4 cheeses galette, and our kids had the 'complète' with ham, a fried egg, and Swiss cheese.
The wait staff were all very friendly and efficient. All in all, a pleasant lunch in the...
Read moreA small but very well decorated crêperie with helpful and attentive staff and great galettes and crepes.
It is a must to book a table in advance for lunch and/or dinner or face a lengthy wait.
Once inside the menu reflects the best of the local region as the ingredients used are sourced from producers local to St Malo. This includes small well thought out details down to the strawberry preserves that go into some of the crepes.
Unfortunately the inside of the restaurant is not wheelchair friendly as there is a step but the tables on the outside - placed directly on the cute narrow cobbled street (don't worry - there are no cars allowed there) are perfectly friendly to those with...

Extremely disappointing experience. We stopped by in the afternoon, when almost all the tables were empty, simply to share a crêpe (we had just had lunch) and to use the bathroom — we have a 3-year-old child. The waitress, after checking with the manager, told us that it was not possible to order just one crêpe: we each had to have our own.
I find this policy to be remarkably petty and greedy, especially at a time when the place was far from full. We chose to leave and go somewhere where people care more about their customers and can show a minimum of flexibility and hospitality.
Places like this do not deserve our money.
Note to the crêperie’s reply: We said we wanted to share a Breton crêpe and were clearly told that each person had to order their own – there’s another similar review if you look it up. Don’t even try to pass this off as a...
