Little Gem of a place offering rare balance of quality and value in the centre of Sarlat. Sarlat is full of upmarket places, heavy on perigordian cuisine which is all great- we love perigordian food but in the summer we rarely want to eat what is essentially winter fare. At the other end of the scale there are kebabs, sandwich shops and a snack bars but they don't feel in any way memorable or special but this place is an exception. Visited for lunch and it was packed, we hoped for good food. However, the two pastas we ordered (spaghetti with salmon and fresh tomato sauce spaghetti) were massively overcooked, the sauces tasteless. One of the glasses was dirty, with fingerprints. Probably just a bad day for the establishment but...

1ère fois dans ce restaurant avec mon compagnon et 1 amie, après en avoir plutôt entendu du positif. Accueil sympa par 2 serveurs. Commandé un burger Ernest Wallon, aperçu trop tard que le poulet venait de Pologne... Burger tout de même correct, toutefois pas le meilleur que j'ai mangé. Mon compagnon avait pris une calzone, pas pratique à manger selon lui. Service convenable jusqu'au dessert. Ensuite, nous aurions voulu prendre des cafés mais avons finalement abandonné après de multiples passages des 2 serveurs devant notre table sans s'arrêter alors qu'ils avaient bien vu que nous avions terminé... L'attente était tellement longue que nous avons fini par avoir limite froid, la porte d'entrée et une fenêtre étant ouverte. Très mauvaise organisation, les 2 serveurs étaient complètement dans le jus. Experience à ne...
