Je tiens à préciser que je n’ai pas mangé dans ce restaurant, mais je pense que la situation que j'ai vécue mérite d'être partagée. Lors d’une journée à Strasbourg, ma fille de 3 ans et demi, qui ne peut pas se contrôler comme un adulte, a eu besoin d'aller aux toilettes de toute urgence. Bien que nous essayons d'anticiper ce genre de situation, cela n'est pas toujours possible.

Je suis donc rentrée dans ce restaurant qui était le plus proche et j’ai demandé à la maîtresse de salle si nous pouvions utiliser les toilettes, en expliquant notre situation et en précisant que nous serions ravies de payer ou de consommer quelque chose en remerciement. Sa réponse a été : “Non madame, vous ne pouvez pas utiliser nos toilettes car nous devons garantir l’hygiène pour nos clients.”

Je n'ai jamais entendu une réponse aussi décevante, humiliante et peu professionnelle vis-à-vis d'un enfant. Comment peut-elle être certaine que notre hygiène est inférieure à celle de ses clients ? Peut-être le restaurant exige-t-il des certificats d’hygiène lors des réservations ?

Nous avons finalement quitté ce lieu et découvert un autre restaurant à quelques mètres, le “Ô 30 restaurant”, où un jeune homme compréhensif nous a simplement dit que c’était normal et logique de permettre à un enfant d’utiliser les toilettes. Voilà un endroit où je me sentirais accueillie en tant que cliente...

Best food we've had in years! Like literally. We just passed by Strasbourg for 2 days. Found this gem in search of authentic local taste and ended up being the best we've had in years.

We ordered the snails for starter, spanish pork shoulder dish and the grilled veal for mains and the chocolate mouse with tonka for desert. They were all cooked and seasoned to perfection.

Must try if you are in Strasbourg and it's even close Notre Dame ❤️...
