I came to this Christmas market because it sounded lovely and I had been in Paris on my way to visit Vienna and Germany for their Christmas markets. This market is scenic and picturesque and there isn’t just one place for a market, there are many different streets that have several stands or stalls setup for the Christmas market. There were many wonderful and delicious sweets and treats to choose from. There was one that had different French cookies or biscuits wrapped up which I purchased for gifts. There is the hot mulled wine in many spots, raclette, and lots of other cheeses, and delicacies.

Many of the vendors accepted both card and cash but a few were cash only so it’s helpful to keep both handy if possible. This was a great market and there were many local shops that had a nice variety as well. Don’t limit yourself, see as much as you can and venture out to...

Marché de Noël at Place Broglie is my favorite marché in Strasbourg. It’s a small market with artisan stalls. The food is prepared before your eyes. There are fried hash brown patties with different ingredients added in (cheese!). Looks so good! They have seating in mini chalets for diners. I ate some curry wurst with sautéed potatoes with lardons bits & grabbed a seat across from the stand alongside other revelers. At a stall, I found a 2024 Strasbourg Christmas mug shaped as a boot in Blue with delicious (! 😋) hot raspberry apple cider. What a...

Very beautiful Christmas Market in the Strasbourg but it is very crowded During Christmas. I have stayed here for roughly two years. Strasbourg Christmas is one the best in the world. You can try cheese and bread, it's really delicious. Vin Chaud is one the best thing which you can try. I would recommend to walk in the city. No need to buy public transport tickets During Christmas.
