Lovely brunch spot with room for small improvements

We had the brunch at Chez Mamie for €30 per person and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The highlight was definitely the brioche with avocado, poached egg, and salmon — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The coffee was also good. The sweet cakes were decent, though not particularly memorable.

The terrace is a real plus: peaceful, sunny, and a great place to relax. The indoor space is more on the simple side and less atmospheric.

Service was polite and generally attentive, though a bit reserved. It would have been helpful to get a clearer explanation of how the brunch is structured, especially for first-time visitors. That said, the overall experience was still smooth and enjoyable.

Lovely lunch today at this popular cafe. A great sign to us tourists are plenty of French customers. The three of us had a main course and dessert. Great steak, stuffed quail and prawn risotto. Arrivée à 13:30 après un appel où l’on nous dit ok pour déjeuner, il a fallu 10min avant que quelqu’un nous dise bonjour alors qu’il ne restait plus grand monde. Les serveurs tournent un peu en rond et ont l’air perdu...on s’installe enfin, personne ne nous apporte de carte de boisson... commande très sèche par la serveuse et personne ne nous prévient qu’il ne reste pas tout les plats donc changement Nous avons opté pour 2 pièces de viande, qui se sont avérées être nerveuses mais cpdt cuites correctement. Les accompagnements sont copieux en revanche. Bref, ce n’est pas fou, si vous souhaitez manger pour pas cher allez-y mais si vous souhaitez bien manger, il y a plein d’autres restos qui savent faire... peut être sont-ils encore en rodage. Je mets 2 étoiles pour le cadre et la décoration, ainsi que pour le jeune serveur qui souhaitait bien faire...
