Very poor service that makes foreigners feel unwelcome. Only two star because the tapas we had was good but is sourced from other local producers. Would recommend going to eg Bettys/ other local producers than going back there. Long story: We arrived at about 4pm on a Saturday afternoon and asked (in French) if we could take a seat. We were initially refused, stating that to eat dinner we’d have to wait until 6pm and that the sitting for lunch was over. This is a place that does French-style tapas, so we were a bit surprised, and said we were only interested in some wine and some cheese / charcuterie snacks. Waiter grudgingly agreed “as long as it was just that”. When, after a little while, a second colleague appeared to take our order, the initial grumpy waiter came to him and said in French, perhaps assuming we couldn’t understand (we are fluent French speakers), that we’d better not order food as we’d been warned by him not to. Being talked about in third person as if we’re not there or not able to understand! Despite having said this we saw other people being served oysters. Impolite, made us feel very unwelcome (we are British, Latino and South African) and surprising given the covid situation - would have thought they would...
Read moreWhat can I say? We had our wedding lunch here, and it was an unforgettable experience. The quality of the drinks, the freshness of the food, and the overall atmosphere were amazing! Lory, the chef, crafted a delicious menu that perfectly suited our tastes and those of our guests, all while staying within our budget without compromising on quality. He also set aside a special area for us and our guests, providing a comfortable space to hang out, celebrate, and dance, complete with his excellent music selection. It was truly the best experience for...
Read moreWe waited 15 minutes just to get our orders, over 30 minutes to be served. The servers are very friendly, one of the waiters even had the initiative to give me the English menu coz she heard me speaking English. And they let me keep my fresh meat I bought from Marché Victor Hugo in their fridge while I dined. But besides the long wait, everything is peachy (good)! The seafood was fresh and the price is reasonable. 18 euros for lunch for what I ordered. I will come back! But hopefully the wait...
