Tempête Bar Restaurant — Restaurant in Toulouse

Top of the range small plate restaurant with full bar, cocktails and more. We recently (March 2023) dined here in the evening as a group of 3. Far better than a tapas place, the small plates are of excellent high quality and much more creative than the tired charcuterie plates (which do not make any kind of appearance thankfully!). We ordered six plates for 3 of us and this was about right. The dishes were delicious and well plated. The eggs and the gyozo pork were particularly notable. We also sampled one of the cocktails (tête de mule) which was a tasty ginger and rum concoction. We had a bottle of the white wine which was a very good quality minerally chardonnay. We enjoyed it very much but a few more white wine options would have been good. For dessert we tried the pears which were presented baked in slices with cookie pieces and small amounts of chocolate. Cet endroit est à la fois surprenant, extraordinaire, chaleureux et j’en passe. Nous sommes venues en premier lieu pour les cocktails, car nous savions déjà qu’ils étaient aussi étonnants les uns que les autres, mais nous nous sommes laissées tenter par les tapas… C’était juste incroyable !! Une explosion de saveur qui nous a fait tomber par terre. Un magnifique mélanges de cultures qui nous a fait voyager en dégustant ces merveilles. Nous étions installées au bar, donc l’échange avec les barmans était tellement agréable. Il faut savoir qu’ils sont de très bons conseils, juste en leur donnant des adjectifs pour pouvoir determiner ce que nous aimons dans un cocktail, une recette incroyable et inimaginable est créée sur le moment sous nos yeux.
