TL;DR: avoid!
During the fifteen minute wait for the waiter to bother to talk to us, we had plenty of time to watch the staff at work. The waiter wears his mask under the chin and never wipes the tables when clearing them, when he bothers to clear them! All four tables around us had remains of people's breakfasts sitting in the sun, with wasps coming to investigate.
The waiter puts his mask over his face with his hand when nearing a table and then hands food and drinks to clients with the same, now dirty, hand!
We asked for coffee and croissants and they were out, even though there is a bakery across the road.
Enough is enough! We upped and left it there, no point persisting with this bar.

Read moreStopped for a quick lunch on a long drive across France, choosing it because it looked nice from the outside. Inside it's like stepping back into the late 70s/early 80s with lots of gold, marble, and mirrors everywhere - it's amazing.
Lunch menu was typically French: croque Monsieur/Madame, omelettes, sandwiches, etc. We had a selection of dishes and all were very tasty, cooked perfectly, and decent portions. The house wine was fine and they also had a decent selection of beers. Service was attentive but Gallicly unhurried!
I imagine it's way more bustling in summer and the outdoor seating looked like it would be very pleasant to while away and afternoon.
