La Fille du Potager — Restaurant in Troyes

Great food, I had the seafood salad which delicious. Didn't eat a desert but the ones I saw coming out looked lovely.

We went on a Saturday night when they were very busy and the staff were literally running in and out to serve 40± tables outside in the heat. The staff were friendly and incredibly hard working.

They gave a dog on the other table a water bowl as soon as they arrived.

There was a bit of a wait for food but not unreasonable considering how busy they were. It was nice to soak up the beautiful surroundings and be sociable.

It has been a long time, in fact way too long since I have a decent steak with awesomely cooked fresh fries. For this alone it is totally worth it. Fresh french fries is a statement against shitty carton fries made in a lab. This restaurant holds keys of the past where taste was something important and precious.
