I am sorry to say this, even if the food is acceptable (not very good, just acceptable) the service was a bit rough and unwelcoming. On the blackboard outside the restaurant we found different (lower) prices than on the actual menu, so the food we chose was actually more expensive than anticipated. In France the law says that tap water is always free, but here to get tap water you MUST take at least one drink. We took the smallest bottle of water (50cl) and it came to cost 5 EUROS on the bill. Its just insane. When we asked explanation to the waitress about the reason why we had to order water (even if we were taking one full dish each of us) she answered angrily and very rude. Read moreUnfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We ordered a sandwich, but what we received was more like a slice of bread with ham and melted cheese on top, which did not match the description on the menu. In addition, we ordered a croque madame, which should normally come with an egg on top, but we were served a croque monsieur instead, without the egg.
On top of that, it took about 20 minutes just for someone to come and take our order, which made the whole experience less enjoyable.
The staff was unpolite, but I believe more attention to detail and accuracy with the menu would really improve the experience...
