L'Espérance — Restaurant in Versailles

I can't comment on the rooms, because we only dropped by the restaurant. It is a cute restaurant close to the church at Versailles, and it's a good place to visit anyway from the touristy restaurants closer to the chateau. They are open on Sunday, which is nice, since most cafes and restaurants are closed in these parts. The lady manager is very kind and funny too, and the servers are nice too. We ordered only salads and the cold meat plate, which were delicious. We saw they served Moroccan dishes too. They looked warm and tasty. We asked for menus to eat. We tried to signal the waiter multiple times to order and even though he was looking at us he never came. Two tables before us decided to leave. Then my husband decided to go inside to order since the waiter was taking a break, smoking and drinking his coffee. Then they told us that they're not serving food at that time. We waisted at least half an hour trying to get his attention. We are very sad because he could have told us from the beginning that they were not...

Good place to spend a night, close to Versailles Train Station and Versailles Palace. Check-in time is usually in the afternoon around 3pm onwards, unfortunately they have no space to leave luggage so plan trips accordingly.
