I have been playing in Iveria for last 10 years and I can say that it is the best casino in Tbilisi Don’t take my word for it. Go there one night in the middle of the week and then compare the crowed with other casinos, you may not find empty seat! Iveria is very popular with local players, those who gamble often. Also International big players come directly here and don’t go to other casinos. I think there are a few reasons: Other casinos tend to look for short term gains from bad players who would lose a lot of money, as fast as possible. Their games have bad rules, and higher minimum (usually 25). In Iveria minimum on table games is 10$ only, lowest you can find in the city. Another tactic of other casinos is to offer lots of alcohol, or free chips (not really free!) to entice people to gamble more and more. I have never seen such thing in Iveria. To the contrary, they control how much people drink, they don’t want drunk rude players. That’s why this is the only casino I feel safe to play with my partner. You will see lots of people coming here with family members. They truly want people to “gamble responsibly”. Therefore players are protected from themselves! Gambling is a social activity. If the dealer is in good mood, it will make it more fun. Most of the dealers here really root for players. I remember an occasion where we were on a losing streak. The dealer stopped the game and begged us not to play! They have membership program which rewards loyal players. You can ask them about different benefits that each membership has. The waiters are really nice and attentive. Some time in the busy weekends, it may take time to get an order, but generally they are very good. They have Georgian dance shows on the weekends which is really cool! Casino has a high ceiling, therefore it has more space and better ventilation.
All and all they are the most professional at what they do and they care about their reputation. If you are a short-term player, it may not matter to you but if gambling is part of your life I highly recommend you...
Read moreWhen I come back to Tbilisi, it is definitely the first place I will go. The comments were a bit scary to be honest, but when I went, I saw more clearly that those who wrote those comments were a bit unfair. For example, the racism that Turks or other nations talk about is completely misunderstanding or resentment. Most waiters know Turkish anyway. If you ordered and it didn't come, give it again, it is normal that they forgot. Such things are normal in such a busy place. All drinks are free except expensive alcohol. Depending on the amount you play, they may also be free, you don't need to hesitate about that. There is no free food. It wasn't really necessary for us anyway. Exchange is better than outside. The air conditioning, atmosphere, international customer portfolio, etc. were all great. I would like to thank admins Mr Batuhan who welcomed us at the entrance, and Tamuna who took care of us every day, for their hospitality. Meet them directly when you go and you can get detailed information about the casino. All the girls at the reception at the entrance are very polite and helpful. But the best staff of the casino is definitely Lizi, one of the waitresses. She is very hardworking and smiling. Sit in the area she is looking at and enjoy yourself. She also speaks Turkish very well. Leave a generous tip, she...
Read moreThe security guards are very rude. I have a personal story that made me feel not safe physically in the casino. one of them touched my shoulder from behind while i’m playing a game, and then aggressively ordered me to take my hoodie off. i asked why? because 2 gusts had hats on right next to him. he just said “NO! You put your hoodie off!” with another aggressive posture. then i got heated and asked him why he is so aggressive?! he just went more aggressive….afterwards i asked for a manger to come and sort this out, it took 20 minutes for the manger to arrive and then another manger and another. but non of them agreed to send him to apologise. that’s all i wanted. so in general you as a customer in that casino are not safe…even with stupid things like put your hoodie off. I know that there’s a rule against hoodies in some casinos, i didn’t mind about taking my hoodie off, just be polite and not physically...
