I want to start by saying—I love this restaurant! The food, the staff, the music, the overall vibes—everything is truly amazing. I discovered Danzan about a year ago, back when they weren’t as well-known or busy. And wow, the food has always been incredibly tasty.
That being said, the only thing that has changed (and not in a good way) is the pricing. Almost all the menu items have gone up by 2 euros or more, while the portions have gotten significantly smaller. I understand—it’s a business, and prices rise, —but it still feels unfair.
For example, we used to order the chicken wings (the first option on the menu, 5 pieces) for €5.50, and it included the full wings (wingette and drumette ). Now, it costs €7.50, and they only serve half the portion( 5 pieces of wingette or drumette or mix). That’s a huge difference!
It’s honestly disappointing. Everything about this place is fantastic, but the price changes make it harder to enjoy it the same way. I really hope they reconsider because I’d love to keep coming back without feeling frustrated...
Read moreThis place is pretty crowded with good and affordable food! Definitely coming back for the fried chicken especially and I'm also waiting for their new corn dog menu, I think it will also be really good 🩵
I had Bulgogi and the original fried chicken and size yuzu rettich pickle. I think you should definitely try the yuzu rettich pickle (only 2.5€) and it pair really well with the fried chicken. We got 12 pieces for only 13.8€, very much worth every penny!
However the beef in the bulgogi is a bit dry, and there is no sauce so although the rice and glass noodle was well cooked, the dried beef and only a little bit of kimchi cabbage didn't help to balance the dryness. (So I only gave 4/5)
Also here you can only pay with card if it's over 15€. But there are very little space available so make sure to come early or have a plan B...
Read moreThe store is too crowded, making it quite uncomfortable to dine in. If you can take your food home, I think the experience would be much better.
The wait was quite long. The fried chicken was decent overall, but the sauce was a bit too sweet. The pieces were inconsistent in size—some were very large, while others were quite small. It would be better if they could improve the quality control.
The fried cheese potato corn dog was disappointing. There was too much batter and very little cheese. It felt like a pre-made product rather than something freshly made. For €6, it’s not worth it—I wouldn’t...
