This place is my new favorite in Aachen! I was here yesterday and I've only good things to say about it -
Ambience - Excellent! This cafe is cozy and loaded with Xmas decorations. The architecture is layered, there are several different spots with different designs, couches, high chairs, bar stools, dinner table etc. The decor and especially the lights are awesome.
Food & drinks - Burgers, Pizzas and a wide variety of drinks! I tried their winter special (Hot Aperol) and it's awesome. The crispy chicken burger with fries was delicious too!
Service - Excellent! This is a huge cafe although the service is fast and friendly. Really impressive.
Pricing - Decent! I ate Burger & Fries with Hot Aperol. Paid around 18€ and I think considering the ambience, service, free WiFi and food quality. It's all worth it.
If you're in Aachen, don't miss out on this Cafe. I wish I was paid for writing this, but sadly not...
Read moreWent for a brunch on Sunday...the staff was friendly. Bread, bacon and egg were good. Pitty was the other warm dish...what presented a beef stew and fried croquettes, we arrived some after 11am and left close to 1pm...for those two hours the as good as empty chaving with stew sauce and without meat stayed empty, and not one fresh croquette was fried, and the 3 whole and a broken one that was in the shaving dish remained there for 2 hours as wel as the cheese plate...by arriving containing 3 small cubes, half a slice of brie and one piece seeded goat cheese...after 2 hours this remained the same. The food provided was good of quality but the choice was poor and if you call it brunch without warm dishes it ain't a brunch but just a breakfast. Doing several brunches in Aachen the last year this was a dissapointment for...
Read moreI recently tried the Mexican Burger at Extrablatt Aachen, and it was a delicious choice! The flavors were well-balanced, with the spiciness adding a nice kick without overpowering the dish. The beef patty was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the toppings like guacamole, jalapeños, and salsa added an authentic Mexican touch. The portion size was generous, and the fries on the side were crisp and tasty.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the burger could have used a bit less salty. However, overall, it was a satisfying meal in a cozy atmosphere with friendly service. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone craving a unique burger...
